RE: Carrie Ann Thomas Duke
on the Genealogies section of Familysearch.org-under Napoleon Clay Duke. Not sure who set it up. By the way, what is the 'story' on Fite/Fate Franklin? His daughter, Betty Franklin Butler, lists his 1st name as John. Was he married to the same Tennessee Ramsey that married Henry Sircy, then James B Kemp? How many Tennessee Ramseys were there ?? The 1910 Census has his wife listed as Callie. So confusing.. ha ha.

Hi,

do you know if her 1st husband was Acy Givens #44236774? His dob would be correct based on the 1910 census.

Ila Hardcastle married Archie Givens in Jan 1910.
Ila Givens then married Robert Holladay in 1913.
Ila Holladay then married Joseph E Melton in 1957.

I can't find where Archie Givens died between 1910 and 1913.

1910 Smith Co Census
Sam Givans Head M y Tennessee
Archi Givans Son M 18 Tennessee
Ila Givans Daughter-in-law F 18 Tennessee
Albert Givans Son M 16 Tennessee

take care,
Barbara Fuller

Find A Grave Memorial# 17153811
Question regarding Narcissa Grace Sircy's marriage to Alexander Thompson on 30 Jun 1881. Alexander Thompson's death certificate in 1936 stated he was widowed, yet Narcissa Grace Sircy, Thompson died 10 years after her husband. Therefore, it should have listed him as married. I'm wondering if this husband/wife connection is accurate. Alexander's death certificate stated his wife's name was Nancy Grace Thompson. Narcissa Grace Sircy had a sister named Nancy Caroline Sircy, therefore, I doubt Narcissa also went by Nancy. There are other records for an Alexander Thomason married to a Nancy Sircy. Do you think these Find A Grave family links are correct? Something appears to be amiss. On Narcissa's memorial it mentions that there are various years of birth for her (i.e. headstone 1865, yet the 1860 census shows 2 years old and 1870 census shows her 12 years old.) Thanks, Sheilah

Sadler Grave
Dear Fay,

Thank you so much for taking the time to photograph the of Homer Sadler. I really appreciate it!

Mr. Sadler was the first husband of my paternal grandfather's second wife, Abby Richmond. (If you are confused, so am I!).

I only discovered that Abby had been married to Mr. Sadler during my genealogical research, about six months ago. There are many family mysteries that I sought to unravel, and my Grandfather's second wife is one of them!

Please have a lovely evening, and happy Easter to you, if you are celebrating this holiday.

Sincerely,

Adam Richmond
