I have documented all the cemeteries in Lebanon, NH; the Etna, Hanover Center and Dana Cemeteries.|
I have also documented all the Civil War soldiers within these cemeteries.
I have been researching Lebanon Residents in the Civil War; and also the Civil War Soldiers buried in Lebanon, NH Cemeteries.
I plan to include bios on all of these men.
I am secretary of the Lebanon Historical Society.
I am on the Soldiers Memorial Building Committee (Old G.A.R. Hall).
It has been brought to my attention that some contributors are using my "published" documents as their own in the Lebanon and Hanover, NH cemeteries. Any contributor that has done this must give "credit" to me for the documentation.

I've made a memorial for Henry in Glenwood Cem.
Henry is a CW vet and an Andersonville survivor.
He died 3APR1924 Marlow, Cheshire, NH.
His 1st wife was Sarah Hodgdon 1847-1881.
She is buried Glenwood Cem.
Henry's NH death record says he was buried "Lebanon", cem was not named.
He may be buried there with his 1st wife.
I really don't know. I may have to delete the memorial.
There is a conflicting report which says he is buried Marlow Village Cem "No_Marker; Section 1819 grave #55".
Can you help confirm/deny Henry in Glenwood?

Thank you for that information! Do you know more about the Odd Fellows? Would it make sense that a 10-year old girl would have an Odd Fellows marker?

You sent me edits for Horace for birth and death dates. Could you let me know where you found those dates so that I can source them in the bio?
I am relying on the NH death record as well as US Census records for the info currently listed in the memorial as I have not been able to photograph the headstone yet.

Thanks so much for the Photo of Herbert Perley's monument.
It is most appreciated.

Ah, yes. I see the difference in spelling now. The contributor who created the memorial probably was not aware of the spelling on the monument, and Ida's third husband's grave does spell the name with an "e." Hard to know which spelling it should be!
Thanks for the prompt response.

Thanks for catching Alice's correct age at time of death. Now that I have looked more closely at the photo of her grave stone, I see that it does say age 29--not 20!
|Steve||RE: John Gray|
Under John Gray, you have "State Service" listed, but this man buried in Calvary was in the Navy. There was another John Gray, who was born in Scotland and was a resident of Lebanon (according to Ayling), who did serve with the state troops. Your photo request for the man in Calvary says "one of Lebanon's Civil War boys", but that is someone else.
