Your tombstone stands among the rest;
In this field of green.
The name and date are chiseled out
For all the world to see.
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I'd exist,
You died long before I was born.
Yet we are of one, you and I,
In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the life you lived
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
And come to visit you.
Genealogy begins as an interest, becomes a hobby, continues as an avocation and in the last stages, is an incurable disease.

|Bill Earls||RE: Earles -Calvary Cem. Nashville,TN|
Sorry I was not clear Michael William Earles is the adopted child of Frank Edward and Geneva Earles Not William Martin and Elizabeth Earles
|Bill Earls||RE: Earles -Calvary Cem. Nashville,TN|
Thanks for that offer but I'm along way away from Nashville, and I lack a lot of experience.
Thank you for your work and your Help.
|Bill Earls||Earles -Calvary Cem. Nashville,TN|
My name is Bill, and all of the "Earles" listed in Calvary Cemetery are of my Family, Elizabeth is my Grand mother.
I have recently added some information, on an Uncle and Aunt.
They have an Adopted Son Michael William Find A Grave # 110091874, I do not know how to show him as a child.
He was married and had a son who was a Jr.
On my next trip back to Nashville I intend to take a photo, of the Grave marker of each of grave and will be happy to share these with you.
Thanks for all your work.

|Susan Olzawski Barrett||Barrett relatives|
I see that you added a page for Bess A Barrett in Collinsville. She is my children's grandmother. I have pictures, etc. that could be added, but I am new to Find a Grave and do not know how to help with information.
I can tell you that she and Walter Donald Barrett had one son, Stephen Don (9/2/54), and two grandchildren, Thomas Don (2/6/76) and Jamie Michelle Barrett Rogers (9/26/78)
You can email me for more family information. She was one of 10 children.
|Bob & Bonnie McEver||Files Valley Cemetery|
This relates to the status of the cemetery in Files Valley, TX. In the 1970s, a board was established to oversee maintenance of the cemetery. All of the board members are now deceased. In order to insure some level of maintenance going forward, a new board should be established. A meeting seems necessary to reestablish the board and the first group to make contact with, before going to the general population of the community, in my opinion, should be those FindAGrave Contributors who have shown an interest and demonstrated some effort to preserve the memory of those interred there. If you have experience in managing small cemeteries and/or the interest to participate in this process, please contact me via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Regards and thanks for all your work for FindAGrave.

I am so sorry to hear about your husband.
I too lost mine and Find A Grave has been a comfort.
I was wondering if you are related to the Hartmans that you have posted.
They are my family and I would love to have them transferred to me if they are not your relatives.
If they are your relatives, I would like to contact you again.
Please let me know.

|Rev. Edward F. Steiner||Memorial# 110578116|
I discovered that I inadvertantly double posted a memorial for Mary Elizabeth "Lida" Greene-Bower.
Your memorial is Memorial# 110578116.
Mine is Memorial# 129589688.
I'm willing to take mine down, but I have added a lot of links. I don't know which way to go here. Would you prefer I send you all the links to your site and you update yours, or would you prefer something else.
You posted originally, so I bow to your decision.
|Bobbie ||Sorry for your loss|
Signed in to remember my Mom and Dad with flowers today and read that your husband passed. So sorry for your loss. It was ten years ago August 24th this year when my husband dies unexpectedly. I know from experience others words do not make the loss more bearable but would like for you to know I am thinking of you. Bobbie Dunsmore Davolt
