I'm retired. I've been doing genealogy since about 1991. Like many genealogists I enjoy walking through old cemeteries and wondering about the lives of those who are laid to rest below my feet.|
Contact me, VIA THE EDIT TAB on a memorial,
if I have entered info of a friend or loved one and there is an error to be fixed or additions to be made. I welcome a POLITE request for changes, corrections, etc. Again a POLITE request.
PLEASE USE THE TAB on the specific memorial to send or suggest corrections or ask questions. DEMANDS OR RUDENESS WILL BE IGNORED.
REMEMBER THERE SHOULD NOT BE ANY REASON FOR RUDENESS OR TELLING EACH OTHER HOW TO DO THEIR JOB! Politeness goes much further.

Thank you for your support, I attend to. Ted
|A Horan||RE: Kealey|
If I don't remove it, someone else will. We move very quickly through requests for ANC and there isn't any reason for it to be there, given that I have assured you that I will get the photo for you as soon as her stone is put in place. The next person to claim it will only have to release it in two weeks. Stones take at least three to four months at ANC, and Capt Kealey was just buried a week or so ago. Please, just trust me.

|Melissa (Tolene) Rura||Watauga|
I do know. Sort of funny that the Watauga chapter is Memphis but it is the oldest chapter in TN. :-)
I too am a transplant although I did spend parts of my childhood in the south.
I am also distantly related to the Embree's :
So 5th great grandfather Jehu Coulson is the brother of Ester Coulson who married Thomas Embree. They had two sons (and a couple of girls that moved to Ohio) that were Tennessee pioneers Elihu and Elijah Embree. They lived in Jonesborough, Washington County, Tennessee.
Thanks for your note.
I can email them to u

|Anonymous||photo request for Harold T Port|
Is there a possible connection to T Harold Brown who is buried in the description for that of Harold Port?
There is a definite link bwteen the Port and Brown families. The heastone is labelled T Harold in the Brown family plot.
There is no headstone for Harold Port.
|Marty & Harley||Hannah Reid Embree|

I'm sorry, but I don't understand the above subject sent to me. I have made no such inquiry. Did you perhaps send this to me in error?

|Solange||Matthew Vernon Bonner|
Actually it was my mother who left the notes on the memorials and I don't know very much about the family.
My father was kin to Vernon Bonner through his mother Winnie who was a Phillips before she married Alvin Bonner. The kinship is such a distant one, Vernon and my Dad were 8th cousins making Matthew a 9th cousin.
Have a Blessed day ~ Solange

I've taken a photo of the temporary marker and will keep an eye open for the permanent marker when it is placed.
