I enter records here on Find A Grave to help others find the graves of lost family members. |
If you'd like me to fix any of the records that I maintain ... please click on the "Edit" button on the top right of the record, click on "Suggest a Correction" ... Enter your note and/or correction and I'll fix them as quickly as possible.
I'm currently working on updating and entered Soldiers and Sailors who "Gave Their All" during World War II. To see more on this project please click on my website below...
I originally started researching my Family Tree when my oldest son, Chris, came home from school one day and said that they had to write up their family tree as a project. This, of course, led me to many cemeteries and I quickly became interested in them also.
I've always enjoyed history and the two fell together.
Again, If I've created a record that someone needs deleted (since some families do not want their loved ones on the internet) or that you want me to update please let me know and I'll be glad to update it for you.
When requesting a transfer use the edit tab on the memorial
"Explain your relationship in the request! Any non-direct relatives (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc) are not required to be transferred. Keep in mind that the original contributor may also be related to the memorial and may not make the transfer. Bulk surname requests should not be made."

Made the additions for Wilbur Cushman. Thank you for the info! I happened to go to your linked website and saw you had a listing for James W. Cooper. I don't know if this is the same one, but I just listed a John W. Cooper @ Lyndon Center Cem. #121985339. On the stone it is written that he died in France in 1944.
Just thought I would let you know.

No problem at all, I understand completely. I will just add pics as I come upon them. Maybe I can notify you when it occurs but maybe will not have time. Look forward to communicating with you in the new year.
Have a great Christmas!!

If you can make a list of names you'd like photos of in Manila American, I will try to get as many as I can.
For ground burials, it would be great if you can make a list by plot #'s (all names in A, D, E, etc.) They don't need to be in alphabetical or numerical order.
For tablets of the missing, alphabetical order by branch of service (Army, Navy, USMC) is essential,
or at least as close to alphabetical order as you can get them will expedite the process. Feel free to update the list as needed.

Thank you. I really appreciate what you are doing. Keep up the good work!
|Spaceman Spiff||RE: George David Salmons|
By the way, I think you should go ahead and change his wife Josephine's maiden name spelling from "Codrey" to "Cordrey." I've found it spelled every which way from "Codrey" to "Cordrey" to "Cordery." That way, at least it matches the spelling of the other family member (her brother) on their shared headstone.
Thank you for the transfer, Russ. There have been some breakthroughs in this family line that are quite exciting. I appreciate your creating his memorial in the first place, which was very helpful to me in finding him.
