I've been trying to get a photo of my Great Uncles grave in Normandy American Memorial Cemetery. Could you please help me since they are not marked. Thank You. Dorothy Robinson

Try calling Karrie in the Forest Hill office. I think she and I looked Ms Towers up before, but it might be worth a second check to see if the records are correct.
The office number is 315-735-2701 and the email address is firstname.lastname@example.org
I'll be at Forest Hill looking for other graves later this morning and this afternoon.

I have been to Forest Hill Plot 27 several times. I have not been able to find a gravestone for Christian Towers.
The Tiers in Plot 27 have many unmarked graves and many stones that are illegible due to weather erosion.
The "Tiers" through out Forest Hill were often burial sites for people without means for paying for their headstone and plot, thereby buried by the county.
I have checked with the Forest Hill office and looked at the Plot Plan to see if I can locate Christian Tower's grave. I used known gravestones to try and fix his location - to no avail thus far.
From some of the graves I have found in Plot 27, it appears that the cemetery Plot Plan for 27 has several inaccuracies.
I'll keep trying and hopefully will have some luck finding him for you.
Are you a relative of Christian Towers?

I would like to ask permission to use one of your photos of the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial for Pvt. Calvin Glen Jennings, memorial # 56646039. I will certainly give you credit for the photo.

I am belatedly asking your permission to use the great photos you took of the markers of my 3rd great grand aunt and her husband in my ancestry.com family tree. Their memorial numbers are 87611574 & 87611178 respectively.
I actually may have asked before, but I note in my tree that I did not give you credit for taking the photos, and I want to amend my tree to give you proper credit.

Thank you very much for the photos you took of the gravesite of James Dean at Youngtown Cemetery. It is hard living so far from family and the places they are buried. I love the story behind James, Abigail, and Calvin, its very dramatic. According to the stories in our family, when James died only 14 months after his marriage to Abigail, James' brother Calvin stepped in to protect her and her infant son. She married Calvin, and during young James' childhood they didn't tell him that his father was Abigail's first husband.
