Your tombstone stands among the rest
Neglected and alone
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished marble stone
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood and bone
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so
I wonder if you lived and loved
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot
And come to visit you

|Elizabeth A.||Thank you!|
Thanks for the Gallion updates in Darling Run Cemetery. :)
|Cashie||George W. Watkins|
Thanks for the photos. I will be checking them out. Would you be willing to add your photo for George Watkins to the other memorial for him. Turns out that mine is a dup and I would like to delete it.

|Cashie||Josephine Eliza Kemper?|
I don't see Kemper at all for family name on that marker. Can you see a family name of Minor in your photo? Found a Francis and Myra Minor, that might be right but need to keep digging.

Photo for Josephine Burley is not coming up for me on her memorial.

Turns out the family name was Tally not Tully. Was able to figure that out by having the mother's name, Cecilia and found the family in several Census'. Fun research opportunity. Thanks.

I am so glad to see your photos and to be able to make changes on some of the Cedar Hill burials.

Thank you so much for the photos you added for Cedar Hill. It is great to get names for the 2 Duttons. I made some changes for Matilda Clemmons as well. Please let me know if you see the inscriptions differently than what I have. Even with your great photos, some parts are hard to be sure of.

|Donna Henry||Alonzo Curran|
Alonzo Curran was the son of my GGGrandfather, David Curran and Susannah Shaw Curran. How are you connected to the Curran's? Maybe we could share info. Thanks, Donna
Thank you for Jill's token. It means so much. <3
