Good mornīng. Just checking to see if you found out if they are buried in section 49 in the one with their son or the one just marked Seeman. Hope you had a wonderful 4th

We are walking around in Metairie Cemetery. I found a site with just Seeman on the memorial. It was section 49. If you can verify this os the correct section I will fill the request. The cemtery would give you that info if you called. Let me know

The VA Gravesite Locator (VGL) isn't perfect by any means. I believe I've photographed one headstone for someone that didn't show up there and I think a friend found one, too. But each of us has taken thousands of pictures, so only finding two is pretty slim odds that there are more.
I tried creative spelling when searching the VGL. Then I simply went to last names beginning with "K" and entering the year of death. Nothing.
There is no office at the San Francisco National Cemetery. All matters are handled out of the Golden Gate National Cemetery in San Bruno, CA. I don't know if they have separate records or whether they would simply refer you to the VGL.

Hello, yes, I'm happy to transfer this memorial to you, with the condition that if someone in his direct line wants it that you should then transfer to them. This was not a photo request but I have a tendency to photograph veterans' headstones randomly to remember their lives and service. Also with that photo, I recall the reason why I took that particular photo when I did was that it was in beautiful light because a sunbeam of light was shining on it while the entire area was shaded around it. I knew it was not going to be repeated. The odds that anyone else let alone me would catch that kind of light situation must be very low. This cemetery has areas with very mature trees and this was one of them. I cannot improve on that photo but I'll remove mine if someone gets a better one. Happy Memorial Day.
