| Bio and Links | I do photo requests and out of the way cemeteries. I add and photograph veterans (the majority of the requests) as well as lonely graves, well cared for graves, or ones that appeal to my inner photo journalist.
No doubt I've handled someone's parents or grandparents. I do not mean to intrude (I rarely add recent ones). I do it as a way for those who no longer live close to connect with their loved ones. I take photos and document the ones near me and others do my ancestors who are not near me. I also do it so that old graves are not completely forgotten to time and decay.
Corrections: If you have any corrections, please use the Edit/Suggest A Correction feature and let me know the source of the information so I can include that. (Information without sources are fairy tales.) If you find a dupe, let me know too. Accidents happen.
Transfers: I do transfers within Find A Grave guidelines. I also do transfers outside of the guidelines on a case-by-case basis. Please send any requests though the Edit/Suggest A Correction feature and be sure to include your Contributor Number. That way I get all the information necessary to do the transfer.
Photos: Unless I give you explicit permission otherwise, do not publish, repost, or upload any photos I've contributed. This includes not uploading to ancestry trees, even if marked private. (However you are more then welcome to link to the FindAGrave memorial.) It happens to be my legal right to set these boundaries. Please respect the law.
(Claims that FindAGrave photos are copyright-free are erroneous. The "no copyrighted photos" message these reports are referring are about not uploading photos whose copyrights are held by someone else. All photos take by a private citizen automatically have a copyright.)
You DO have my permission to use my photos in your own private files on your own computer.

 | St Joseph's Catholic Cemetery Aloha,
Im in the process of posting names from when I was last visiting; approx 68 at this time. I am almost 1/2 done and am reaching out to anyone in the area that can take photos of all the ones Im posting.
Feel free to take on this challenge, as you know this cemetery is unkept and possibly locked up now.

 | RE: Aiea Cemetery Going on memory from so long ago when I posted the original listings. I did not have a plot map. Just walked around making notes. I did find, later on, a listing of what should have been there before the government bought the land and paved Kam highway through the middle of it. The cemetery originally went down to the water from what I could tell. The graves were supposed to be moved but I could never find where they were moved to. I did at one time find a pile of headstones half buried in the brush but was not able to find any more answers. I sent some letters to the state about the condition of the cemetery at the time, all over grown and people parking there during football games. The letters were never answered and finally the cemetery was cleared and blocked from parking. I was not able to complete the full cemetery before moving away so I'm glad to see it has been added to. I was leaving the stones in Japanese for a friend of mine who was going to help me translate but she moved before we could do that. thank you, mslomilomi | | | John Deeter

 | Kahana Valley cemetery Russell,
The two burials at this cemetery are for a brother and sister so maybe you could show that link on the site.

 | RE: Pearl City Cemetery Hi There, You're right. The correct cemetery is Sunset Memorial in Pearl City. I added her burial under Pearl City Cemetery until I could go back to my records to confirm. Do you have any information about this cemetery? I visited a few years back and was unable to locate Emily's headstone. My understanding is that a road was built over a portion of it and the owners didn't maintain records.
Thanks, ChristyAdded by CK14 on Dec 20, 2012 4:13 PM | | | Susanna Webber Lewis
 | Permissions Hi Russell,
You took a very interesting picture at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. I was wondering if I could copy that picture and any other picture/info you have posted on findagrave. I'd like to post them on my ancestry family tree. Would that be okay?
The person who's my relative is Find A Grave Memorial# 72585234, Isabella A Sirianni.
I do understand about the copyright permission and respect that. I will, of course, name you as the photographer. You have spent a lot of time and money doing this service for others. I appreciate it. I always ask copyright permission on findagrave and it takes a lot of organization to keep track of those I've asked. I consider the relatives on my family tree very special and the more I can find out about their lives, the better.
Thanks a lot and have a great day!!

 | Loch View Cemetery Some more photos of the Cemetery
http://www.flickr.com/photos/tutubonnie/sets/72157606548234699/
Gives a little of the history. Both are the same cemetery.
It should be noted that it is not "Lock View" but "Loch View", I have the 1913 Death Certificate of Henry Watson and it is spelled "Loch View Cemetery" both A and B are spelled wrong. Also check Antone Silva in Lock View B #54601399 as the same as A #5407623
For your info.
ps I don't know if Henry Silva was reburied somewhere else or not. I have not been able to determine that so far.Added by BCA3 on Nov 05, 2012 9:35 PM | | | BCA3
 | Lock View Cemetery A and B These two cemeteries are the same. I created a memorial for Henry Watson sometime ago in Lock view A but did not create the Cemetery, I believe that Charles Ano did so. He also has Silva Family buried there but there is no relationship to my Silva Family.
This will take you to Lock View A http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GScid=456052&GRid=5653558&
I don't know who created both cemeteries but this is to let you know that they are duplicates.
For your information and disposition.
Best Regards B

 | Question Can you tell me which cemetery you took the picture of Bruce David Merritt? National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific OR Honolulu Memorial? There is a find a grave memorial listed under both and I am now the "owner" of them both and want to delete the incorrect memorial. The picture you posted (showing it to be in the ground) is under the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, and I want to make sure that is where he is. Please help me to figure out which cemetery he is in! Thank you for all your help! | | | | [View all messages...] |
