My father's side is from Lufkin Texas and mothers side "The Weinman's" are from Stuttgart Kansas. I was raised in Altus & Lawton Oklahoma, and now live in Clinton Utah. I like to add old photographs to show a chronological order of an individual's life, even after death. I'm caught up with my family, so I'm inventorying local cemeteries. I inventoried the Clinton Utah cemetery in the summer of 2014, and currently working on the "Masonic Gardens", Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, South Ogden Utah.|

Appreciate that. He is a direct relative and one of the lines I am trying to clean up. I will take good care of him.

Thank you so much for transferring the Hopkins memorials to me. I remember visiting them when I was a child. I was glad to see the memorials that you created & the pictures. Thank you SO much for all your work! LR Jolley

Yeah, you did. I correct a lot of trivial stuff, myself, but he seems to be ruffling some feathers. Insisting on periods after middle initials might be a little over the top. Personally, I prefer to leave off the periods in form fields and lists, as they don't contribute anything. They just add one stroke when entering data, and if one enters thousands of names, imho it makes sense to omit them. Either way, consistency would be desirable, but we don't have it, and that complicates the search process when trying to avoid creating duplicates. Just sayin'...

No Find A Grave Quality Control section that I am aware of for such things. There's just something about a hopeless cause that I can't stay away from. I know that for every memorial I suggest a correction for that multiple new memorials are being added with spelling errors. Keep telling myself that sometime in the future it may help someone find a relative.

I added a correction to the obituary, She is buried in the Washington Heights Memorial Park, in Ogden, I have been to her grave. Not sure why the obituary said that, I typed it up from the newspaper. (She is the sister to my great grandfather John William Simmons).
Hope this helps you out.

Thank you for those pictures. I wanted some overhead pictures but being only 4'11" it was kind of difficult.

Thanks for catching this error - it is a duplicate. The "P" is covered by grass, since his name is so long it runs further than usual on those military markers. He is a distant cousin and I know it's the same one because it's the right spouse. Thanks for adding the pages and photographing! I am very far from Utah and would probably not see it otherwise.

Glad to hear you didn't get a lemon! I wouldn't know how to solve the problem with ice/snow on tombstones - here, it's lichens and such. You guys have snow and ice already?!!! We've had it in the upper 80s/ low 90s just recently! Bless your heart, I think I'd wait 'til spring or summer.
