Thank you Erich for allowing us to read the story of Capt Donald Snoke. I am sure this was not an easy memorial to write nor is it any easy one to read. I often wonder how these brave men survived as long as they did under such unbearable conditions. We Americans must never forget the true dedication of our men in this war to save our nation. {{{This may or may not help, and maybe you've previously looked. Check www.familysearch.org. Type in his name. Born in Surry, England, about 1665. He arrived in Virginia about 1683. He died in Virginia in 1721. His father was George Stovall and mother was Joan Tickner. His wife was Susannah ' Anne' Burton. They were married about 1693. It seems they had 7 kids, George, William, Hannah, John, Margaret, Harbor, and Elizabeth. Some of this information I got from Ancestry.com as well.

Hello Erich,
Thank you is more than enough. I'm honored and humbled to sponsor Mrs. Snoke. Reading her biography ... well sometimes something in one of them gets to me and I feel like I just have to sponsor that person if they aren't already.
Clevie Snoke sounded like a "grand lady", as my late Dad would have said, and that is a wonderful compliment!
