Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am semi-retired, again, after having retired once from the Air Force, and have quite a bit more time now to devote to Find-A-Grave network.

I was raised in the Talbot, Marion, Taylor County areas of Georgia and now live in Newton County.

I plan to busy myself in aiding those requesting photos or other services in my geographic area which will more or less include Newton, Rockdale and Walton counties here in Georgia. These areas are on the eastern side of Atlanta metro.

If I can be of service to anyone, I will do my best to help. Hopefully, in the near future I will have more time to provide.

If I have established a memorial which you wish to be transferred to you to maintain, please do not hesitate to let me know. E-mail me direct if you wish. All photos I have submitted can be considered public domain and reused in the furtherance of ancestral quests.

I have an extensive tree made up of Harts, Hansons, Hays, Cookes, and their lineage into South Carolina. Also a tree made up of Bacles, Parkers, Willis's, Smiths in the Georgia, LA, SC areas.

Your tombstone stands among the rest;
Neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished, marbled stone.

It reaches out to all who care.
It's much too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist
You died, and I was born.

Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own.

Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
So many years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so.

I wonder how you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew,
That someday I would find this spot,
And come to visit you.

Name of Parents on Perry Watson
Hi GOrdon,
Thank you for the long service you have given to the FIND A GRAVE and the work that you do.
I was doing research in Taylor County, GA. and found pictures of Ms. Hart's Grave. Then to the FIND A GRAVE. As a quick reference for you to verify that my request to change the Parents of Ms. Hart's Husband's parents name is correct.
Perry M. (Michael) Watson was the son of Michael Watson. Whose WILL is in Marion County ONLINE WILLS. You will find Michael Watson's Will Dated 1844 which lists his children, of which, by his first marriage he had Perry M. Watson. By his second wife Sarah, you will find Julius More Watson, and that is my Great Grandfather who was half brother to Ms. Hart's husband, Perry M. Watson.
I only am trying to help and not being ugly. It is part of my distant family and I have been doing research for 50 years and know how important it is to have things correct. While sometimes the correct info is not available, I know. But this Henry C. and Aner Watson are not Perry's parents. Our Watson Clan has been traced all the way back to Scotland. Thank You, you may contact me but Michael Watson's WILL DATED 1844 Marion County, GA. online will clear that up for you.
Sincerely,
Ms. Baggett

RE: Regarding Larry's post below
Gordon, sorry it has taken so long to reply, but I just thought about this and you can request from Find A Grave that they transfer the memorial to you and they sometimes will do it. Good Luck!
