|c.walker||Census and ages|
yes, lots and lots of discrepancies in the census records.. ( our own great grandmother has her age listed diffeentely twice , as well as the year of immigration from ireland...and the other great grandmother says she was widowed and her "ex" husband, living in another state , but on the same census year, said he was divorced. drives genealogists crazy... and other vital stats as well often give wrong or conflicting info...even wrong dates on tombstones... i try to get three documents saying the same thing before i commit, then have to determine if the info was copied from one of those documents to the next one... but so hard!
thanks for the come back
PS . i hate drop down boxes for choices too

I am not sure what your source is for the DOB for John Marshall, it just said: Not accurate - Their data conflicts with my data. Could you share your source with me?
Regarding the DOB, I have three independent sources that give his DOB as August 27, 1878 ( not 1874)
#1. Curry funeral Home Records,
#2. WWII Draft Registration Card
#3 SS Death Registry (see below)

You are very welcome. I'm glad to have been able to find it for you. I was able to make it to the cemetery the day before the snow hit us again.

I see you have done work in the Van Duesen cemetery and I see your Hall family tree on Ancestry. I am not related. But on Tuesday I hope to be in possession of an 1813 Bible printed in NY that was owned by Gerret and Electa Van Duesen Burgert. There are pages of hand-written family records starting with their 1816 wedding, recording their children and grandchildren and so on- and I believe the records may go into the early 20th century. I saw it today for the first time after being told of it; it is at a consignment store and was on hold by another person. When I told him I would like to research the records and return it to family, if possible, he agreed to pass on the book. I am negotiating for a better price. Are you in contact with any descendants of this couple?? I have hit the Berkshire Co., MA genweb site and found nothing there. Any help would be appreciated.

You're quite welcome -- always happy to help. Glad you like the photos; my husband is a retired photographer and I get his hand-me-down equipment, so it's kind of a cheat. ;)

Linked and made the edits you requested. The portrait of Rebecca Bush Davis is simply charming. Best regards.

I don't think the snakes are out yet, thats why I was brave enough to give it another shot. lol...there was a rabbit that shot through the cemetery, all it took was hearing it move to make me scream at the top of my lungs. I'm glad the bunny was non poisonous!
