A longtime interest in genealogy and cemeteries paired with a fascination (alright, obsession) with local history brought me to Find A Grave. Wandering around cemeteries, researching and connecting the dots are the best aspects of genealogy for me. I'm also drawn to the design and typography of headstones--faux bois and Art Nouveau styles are my favorites. And sometimes a stone with the light hitting it just right demands to have its picture taken.|
All information I've posted is in the public domain or has been submitted by another member (and some sources have wrong data), but if you'd like to have it removed or changed--or if I've made a wrong intuitive leap, please let me know. Likewise, feel free to contact me to have a relative transferred. If you reuse one of my photos, I would love to hear from you, but in any case, please attribute it. Unhelpful messages from people without a F-A-G account will not be responded to.

Debbie, do you have a source for your information on Charles? Thank you, Kaye
|Sharry Blazier||Beryl Van Arsdale|
Hi -- Beryl Van Arsdale was my 8th grade English teacher at Kimball. Very interesting woman, enjoyed her class a lot!! I don't have any family connections in Washington cemetery that I know of, but since I do a lot of Hampshire genealogy, the tendrils of Hampshire family names often reach out that way ...

I got your email about the old church service here in June and was wondering if you would email me more info. this was the church that my ancestors attended and are buried at. My email is email@example.com

Yes, Debbie, would you transfer her memorial to me? I have some more information that I would like to add. Thanks! Teddie

Debbie, I went on Ancestry and check Spruel out and found he is son of Hiram and Vina Price Silkwood. Found Census with children listed. Kaye

Spruel's obituary says Clarissa Kirpatrick Silkwood is his mother. Do you have proof his mother is Vina E. Price Silkwood? Thank you, Kaye

Yes, that would be great! I plan on being there this summer and want to document as much as possible. It's been many years since I've been to those graves.

They are all family of mine so I'd be happy to accept their transfers, thank you.
I like your profile on here, it sounds fun! I was curious, if you can recall,
Hoss, Amelia A. "Millie" (Jerke) #55182126 b. 1879 d. Nov. 6, 1951
maiden name should be (Behrke), but where did you find (Jerke)?
Hoss, Margaret "Maggy" Weirich #55181954 b. Dec. 15, 1856 d. Nov. 10, 1919
where did you find her nickname "Maggy"?
I do have several more memorials I have added that need photos, are you willing and able to help?
