Bio

I am a future resident of The Great Mausoleum of Forest Lawn, in Glendale, California. My niche (20817) faces W.C. Fields in the Columbarium of Nativity. I enjoy the history and art of cemeteries, and photographing them. This was my first statue, "The Butterfly Baby", by Bruno Pattorino. It sits in the Columbarium of Security on Gardenia Terrace of the Great Mausoleum. I also have an original statue of "Cupid's Choice" by Donatello Gabbrielli in the Hall of Inspiration (Holly Terrace) that is adjacent to the Columbarium of Nativity where my Mom is inurned and where I will be with her one day. I also have a bronze statue of "The Rising Sun" by Adolph Weinman in the Columbarium of Sanctuaries next to The Last Supper stained glass window on Memorial Terrace, Court of Honor. I recently purchased my fourth statue (marble) of "Little Friends" by Pietro Bazanti, (on Holly Terrace), and dedicated it to my late neighbor and friend, LaVonne Rose Potter. It stands in the Sanctuary of Redemption atop the grand staircase leading from The Last Supper stained glass window up to my niche in the Columbarium of Nativity (Holly Terrace) Hall of Inspiration. (Click on all photos on Mom's site to enlarge and to get descriptive text).
