I am a retired mechanic-truck driver (3516/3531) and a former Marine Veteran, May 1965-May 1971. Charlie Battery, 1st Battalion, 12th Marines, 3rd Division, Vietnam DMZ 21 months May 1966-Feb 1968. I try to take the most legible pictures I can. I believe in recording history for future generations. This is the best way I know to HONOR and Remember the deceased. I am adding memorials from books and graveyards so others can find their friends and family members. If you would like some one transferred to you just ask. -(USE THE EDIT TAB)- on the memorial you want transfered. Glad to do links and I will add obituaries to BIO section also. (USE THE EDIT TAB!) If I can help you with information let me know.
Semper Fidelis Sgt. Ed Elstan
Any pictures I have added you are welcome to use them for your personal use.

I have lost some of my best Marine brothers to Agent Orange:
Memorial #139517225 I am a long ago friend of Sarah Ellen Spangler Long and can give you a little Information about her but I do not have her obituary and do not believe there was one published giving personal details. Sarah was born in Atlanta Ga, to Major Paul and Dolly Ivey Spangler, she has one sister, Pauline Spangler. She married Calhoun A. Long, Jr. in December 1950 at Gordon Street Baptist Church, Atlanta, Ga. Sarah and Cal had three children, two of which are deceased, one son survives, Calhoun A. Long III, as well as Five Grandaughters and one Grandson. I am not sure where Sarah's Parents are buried but think it is very likely Westview in Atlanta. Thanks so much for entering Sarah and her Husband on Find A Grave.
I am a contributor on Find A Grave mostly for my own family.
HUDSON CEMETERY Greetings Marine! I just want to let you know that I went driving down Wyatt Road in Bowdon, GA. the week before last looking for the Hudson Cemetery. The road is really a dirt road and one way honestly. The road itself is greatly wooded, thick tree covering. Google earth cannot even penetrate the trees from the air. I'm only about three or perhaps four miles from this cemetery, but finding it or getting to it is most difficult. Are you from about here?
