I am just an ordinary person hoping to help to make it a little easier for my children, friends and family to find their roots. I have found it to be most frustrating to try to locate my family over the years.I have three beautiful, wonderful and fantastic sons and 8 beautiful grandchildren to sweeten the pot. God has truly blessed our little family.

RE: Dorothy LaVern Nordine
You are most welcome. My mom Ruth has been gone a little over 4 years and I still miss her so much it hurts. You take care and cherish your memories!

Holtzclaw Genealogy
I don't know if you are familiar with the Holtzclaw's who came to Orange Co, VA in the early 1700's...it is not a common name and was wondering if your father's line might go back to this early family, part of 1st German settlement in the US established by Lt. Gov. Alexander Spotswood of VA. Read more at Germanna.org, click on List of Original Settlers and you will find the Holtzclaw listing. The Germanna Center has research staff and a library if you are interested or looking for more "Holtzclaw" ancesters.

RE: My Great-great Grandmother
Thanks. I get in a hurry sometimes or for some reason my lens pics get blurred so I can relate. I am trying to help another enumerator Marie to photograph all the stones out there. It's going to take awhile there's so many. Take care.

YOUR DAD"S MEMORIAL
Debbie, I just loved the memorial for your Dad. My heart goes out to you for your loss. I read all the postings in his memory. I write down the names of those loved ones whose memorials I want to revisit. Your Dad's will be at the top of my list!

Take care, Patricia
