This is a fun and interesting hobby for me, as well as a great way to perform a meaningful community service to others. Someday I hope to have more free time to devote to it.|
In fairness to those who may have closer ties to a memorial, please read the Transfer Guidelines prior to requesting a transfer. I will make exceptions if I am personally doing work for you. You do not need to "manage" every memorial that is part of your family tree. Remember that this site is for locating burials, not building a tree. There are other websites that are more suitable for that purpose. I will be happy to make any links and corrections. PLEASE use the SAC feature ("Edit" tab). Please do not ask me to do links to any "Burial Unknown". Do your homework, first. Please feel free to add photos where appropriate, as you do not need to manage the memorial to add photos.
I will not cut and paste raw data from census records, death indices, etc. A nicely written bio is preferable.
Please consider using the "virtual cemetery" feature on this site to keep track of relations.
Since March 2013 I have taken over management of memorials in Inglewood Park Cemetery from Chris Mills. Please continue to send suggestions for corrections using the "Edit" tab and I will get to them as soon as I can.
Please have your messages enabled if you want to correspond with me. I will not use my personal e-mail on this site. If you ask for a transfer but your messages have been disabled, I will delete your request.

Well, I haven't seen the death certificate, I'm just going on the obituary that was in the paper. It said Biby and Belyea Mortuary in South Gate took care of services and burial was to follow in Inglewood. I posted the obituary on his memorial for you to see. Maybe they ended up being buried in Rose Hills where her parents are. I will call them tomorrow.
Thanks for trying.

I found a copy of his obituary on Ancestry.com. It says the burial was at Inglewood Park Cemetery. Maybe they have the name misspelled? I just put it on his memorial so you can see it.
Oh well. BTW, his father's memorial is here. Not sure if you had looked at it. Best wishes for 2015!

The dupe is gone now.
BTW, no need to give me any explanation on these, since I gave those memorials to you I have absolved myself of all knowledge or worries about dupes or anything like that, I trust you on these. It's not like Forest Lawn, where I want to know the original memorial number if I created a dupe.
Happy Holidays to you and yours!

Wininger's are related to my lineage through Nancy Tarter out of Kentucky.

Hi, B.J. Here's your Christmas surprise: 6152781 & 129512354!!
|Arthur Anson||Bartletts Inglewood burials|
Thank You for your help, and may I wish you a very Merry Christmas too.
All the burials listed in Inglewood (Mignonette Plot-Lot 230-B) are relatives of mine I listed their relation to each other previously. Bartlett's are my maternal great grandparents. Mamie Bartlett Foster my great aunt, Leroy her husband. Patricia Fawcett is my mothers 1st cousin, daughter of her aunt Bessie Bartlett Fawcett.(Mrs. Maurice Fawcett) Patricia was 8 years old when she died in March of 1932 (born abt.1924).
Sincerely, Arthur Anson

Thank you for the pictures of the gravestones of Milton and Mayme Freeland in the Inglewood cemetery. I noticed that there was a stone next to them, did you happen to notice the name as I am trying to locate more of Milton's family and neither of them were in "find a grave" before I placed them there based on their obituaries, so his siblings living in the same area were not in find a grave either. Just wondered if you noticed the names next to them. Thanks anyway for your help.

Well, they kind of all do look the same. Thanks! Merry Christmas.
|Arthur Anson||RE: David and Anna Bartlett|
I notified Inglewood park Cemetery about the markers for the Bartlett's (my grt. grand parents)The switchboard operator sent a worker to check, but none was found. Although their son in-law Leroy Foster was marked at this site, the records show five burials there (all cremains I believe).
Those interred there were:
1. David Bartlett- interred March 7,1931
2. Patricia Helen Fawcett- interred March 26,1932 (grand daughter)
3. Annabell Anderson Bartlett- interred October 24,1942
4. Leroy Foster- interred May 23,1956 (son-inlaw)
5. Mary Alice (Mamie)Bartlett Foster- interred August 20,1964 (daughter)
Thank You for your help,it is good to know there are people like you who also care about ancestry.
I feel that these graves were marked but maybe time has claimed them.
Once again, Thank You.
Sincerely, Arthur Anson
