Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am originally from Hartsville, Darlington, Florence area of South Carolina. I am related to the Watkins, Williams, Browns, Kelleys , Kellys, McDonalds, and many many more. This is a great site for building family history to pass on to our children and grand children. God Bless and have a glorious day!

Revelation 21:4
King James Version (KJV)

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

P.S. Please take a moment to visit the memorial for Morgan Thompson . We went to High School together. Morgan was an orphan and had been living in the Boy's Home for a number of years. He had been talking for a couple of years about joining the Army as soon as he was old enough so he could get out of the Boy's Home. He joined the Army and came by school to show us his uniform. He had a smile from ear to ear! I will never forget how proud he looked in his dress uniform. He had just completed basic training and was on his way to Vietnam. A few short months later we got word that Morgan had been killed in combat. God bless you Morgan. You made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Freedom is not free. Through the sacrifices of many thousands of men and women like Morgan we have freedom. He was only 18! Cherish this freedom and never let it be taken away.

Thanks for the photo! Wasn't related, just completing the circle of a family up in this area.
Looks like an interesting little cemetery.

To answer your question, I would say they are probably related since they're in the same cemetery and bear the same name, but I have no way to know that. I only know the lineage of Thelma Braddy Hale, who is my husband's aunt.

Thanks for Harry Weeks photo
Thanks, Johnny. Everywhere I found a record there was a different birthdate for him- stone, death record, census, marriage record. But thanks to you his birthdate is a lot closer than "unknown"

Yes, I believe the two are the same and have corrected the name. Since my memorial was first, would you please move your photo to my page? I shall write the other contributor and ask her to remove the duplicate. Thanks for finding this!
