|Most of my memorials are my family, and then some of them are people that have touched my life. If you are a family member of one and would like management transferred to you, I will do so. |

I'm on ancestry.com and have been a member there for 3 years. I started working on genealogy back in the early 90's or so, when you actually had to go down to the Census center in Philly and scroll through microfilms looking for relatives, and to the Philadelphia City Hall looking for birth, marriage, and death certificates and wills. It's so much easier now, and I've found probably 5 times as much information in a fraction of the time!

Check Dallas Young, born about 1874 in Pennsylvania living with his wife Elizabeth in Philadelphia in the 1880 census. His mother Cathrine (sp?) born abt 1808 in Pennsylvania is living with the family. There's 3 more kids that you don't have on Find A Grave yet. (Good luck finding them!) Then check the 1900 census for Dalas Young, and find another son, 17 year old Dallas. Happy hunting!

Boy, what a coincidence! I was just looking into that myself and was about to message you that you had the wrong mother for Ethel, when I looked at the 1900 census in which Ethel is listed as the 3 year old daughter of 50 something year old Dalas and E Young, with 25 year old Emma still living at home with her parents. And who said the 60's were the only times of "free love!"

Hi Carol, I see that just yesterday you created a memorial for the wife (Elizabeth Harriet Chenot Boales)of my third cousin once removed (Robert William Boales III). Do you know if he is in the same cemetery as his wife? If he is, are you planning to create a memorial for him? If you don't want to create it, I would like to do so. I hadn't been able to find where they were buried until I made the transfer of her mother to you today! Let me know. Leslie

I am happy to transfer Emma Virginia (nee Young) Chenot to you. She is the mother-in-law of my 3rd cousin once removed; you're much closer! Happy hunting for more relatives!

Dear CJ M.
My great-grandmother was Lottie Batezel. I noticed you were related to her also. Do you have any information or more photos of Lottie, her husband or my grand father Elmer? I would appreciate anything I could give my mother. She searched for Lottie's husband, her grandfather but can't seem to find much. I would appreciate anything you could give me. I guess this makes us distant relatives? :)
