|Bio and Links|
The vast majority of pages I've added to Find-a-Grave are for strangers. I'm always happy to transfer pages to people who know something about these strangers. If you would like for me to transfer a page to you, please let me know (preferably by clicking on "edit" and then "suggest correction" since that will provide both a link to the page and a link to your contributor page with the necessary ID# for the transfer). NOTE: I AM TALKING ABOUT ANY PAGE ANYBODY WANTS (except for the very small number of pages I've created for my own relatives). I do not care how close kin you are or whether you are kin at all. I see no point in keeping a page for somebody I know nothing about when somebody out there does have a connection of some kind -- any kind.|
I live in Jackson (Hinds County), Mississippi, and love "graving," whether here in central Mississippi or in other places when I'm traveling. If you find errors in my listings, please send me corrections.
A note about photo requests: If you make a request for Lakewood Memorial Park, Lakewood South, or Cedar Lawn, please include the section and plot number.

Thank you for the transfer, and your work in general. And if someone with a closer connection comes along, I would of course be happy to transfer to them.

Thanks, Natalie. Will take care of them until a closer relative comes along...
|Beverly Jo||Edith Maude Koontz Hemphill|
Thanks for processing my edits so quickly! Still looking for the grave sites of Edith's parents, Wilford Charles Koontz (1872 in Maryland - 1932 in San Diego, CA) and Louisa B (Baker) Koontz (1869 in Hampshire, England - 1911 in Los Angeles, CA.) Would you like me to post an edit with their names & dates as a bio?

Here is the link to Louise Alice Burkett's Grave site at Oakwood Cemetery in Montgomery County, AL.
I just need a picture of the tombstone or crypt so that we can send it in to the Cemetery Office, since they do not have any record of her being buried in the Cemetery. I have also looked for a death Certificate and did not come up with anything in Alabama.
|Robin Robinson||Louise Alice Burkett 1871-1918|
can please post a picture of the tombstone that is related to this person. I have been Searching for the burial place of Alice Burkett, Garner. Alice Burkett, garner is my 2nd Great Grandmother and I need to be certain this is were she is buried at.
Oakwood Cemetery Office says that they do not have a record on this person. If Alice is buried here I need proof sot hat I/we can report to the Cemetery Office.

I believe the one you did was the Cenotaph. I'm not certain, but I believe the other memorials create were the original graves at the ghost town, Bankston. Those headstones look older. Perhaps some of my family erected the new monument in McCurtains Creek Cemetery since most of their children are buried there. Thank you for the transfers.
|Mamie Kite Lee||James and Mary Trussell|
I noticed you had created memorials in 2008 for my 4th great grandparents, James and Mary Trussell. 26806713 and 26806726
Someone else created memorials later for them. 123166510 and 40665029
I didn't know if there was a way to link these or not. I didn't think a merge or deletion of the later ones was necessary since they show the original graves. How is this normally documented? I'm new to this and don't understand how it works.
|S. Downs||Samuel Williamson|
Hi, Do you know who the parents of Samuel Williamson are? I see you have him listed as bieng in the Civil War in Company F, 39th MS Inf. and also buried in the Goodwater Cemetery in Simpson County, MS.
I have also seen the same name (different tombstone) listed as being in the Strong River Cemetery in Simpson County, MS. And that person was also in The Civil War in the same Company and Infantery as the one you have listed. I found this odd. Do you know if they are related?
