I have been searching for genealogical information on my family lines since 2001. With the help and kindness of several distant researchers I have gained many branches of information on my African, Native American and French ancestry. I am hoping that posting and contributing additional pictures and information to this site will help to find more relatives, information and branches in my family's rich history. I am searching my Alexander, Babineaux, Brown, Durham, Redden, Richardson, Taylor, Worship/Wisherp, and Wright family lines. |
I send my sincere thanks to all of the Find-A-Grave community members who have left notes and flowers on my memorials, and to all of you who have helped to soothe my spirit by finding and posting pictures of my beloved family member's final resting places. Your acts of kindness are deeply appreciated.

Thanks for the correction on William Simmons, I have added his father to his memorial and two of his brothers, do you know where their mother is buried.
PS I will transfer the family that I do have over to you if you like.

So sorry Micki, my friend says she can't go out there for us. She is a sweetheart but has a lot of fears and phobias. We're visiting near there in April for only a weekend but I will try to get out there if I have time.

Hi again Mickey: I've been going through some things on findagrave tonight and saw a message from you regarding a recently deceased aunt buried in Old St. Louis Cemetery in Creola, AL. I now can't figure out where I saw the message to note the information. We moved from Alabama, Oct. 1, 2015 around the time of your message. I don't know who there would go out there to take a picture but I have a friend who might do that for you. I will contact her and ask and let you know.

Hi again, I'm so sorry I missed your message but we did move to OH on the same date of your message. I don't know who would go out there and take a photo but I will ask a close friend who lives not far away from there...It will probably be a phone photo if she goes. Will let you know.
|Poppy||Frank Bacy, Sr|
I have been to the Evergreen Cemetery to take photo's. Frank Bacy, Sr.'s name and the dates 1874-1964. the information on the post that you created has his birth year 1873. His headstone could be incorrect? I will upload the photo, so you can see. please Let me know what you decide so that I can make a notation on my records.

|James Royal||Surname Price Ancestry|
Please respond to Cherokee County TX Community Bulletin Board on ancestry.com? The focus is Clinton and Cynthia Price. They were parents of James (ca. 1852) and grandparents of Cornelia. Although not related, I'm tempted to develop a family tree because those currently online needs additional research.

Hi again Micki, it's been a long time since we corresponded and since I have been out to the cemetery for pictures. I am so sorry that I didn't get back out there as I said I would to finish taking pics that I couldn't do last time. I am the queen of procrastination. I kinda quit doing that at all but if you are still searching for your kin out there, just say so and I'll try to finish my project. I'm not sure where I left off taking the pics but I have half an idea. I have even just about forgotten the location but good thing I sent you directions in one of my messages. I probably would have located it but who knows. Just let me know if you have specific requests & I'll see what I can do but I might wait until the weather cools off or go out really early...It's pretty steamy here in S. Alabama right now. Sincerely, Pat

Directions to the cemetery: Coming South on I-65 north of of Mobile, take Exit 22 (Creola). Take immediate right (Dead Lake Rd.) at brown Mobile Delta sign. If you're coming from the south, take exit 22 and turn left across the highway then take immediate right at the brown Mobile Delta sign. Continue on for a few miles and when you see another brown Mobile Delta sign, keep going straight past it (do not take the sharp right turn). Continue until you see "Little St. Louis Church" on the right. The cemetery is behind it. There is no car lane going back to the cemetery but drive on the grass at the right side of the church. Your Jimmy Pugh & family is in the last row, center rear of the cemetery. Do not depend on Google maps. I'm continuing putting more memorials and grave pics in that cemetery and will be going out to take the last of the pictures.
