Bio and Links
Bio Photo I primarily cover cemeteries in Hampshire and Franklin Counties, though I have also done extensive work in and around Boston.

My focus is on pre-1800 stones, Revolutionary War veterans and Civil War veterans. I also snap any Dickinsons I come across, since those Dickinsons seem to be really into this.

I don't mind being contacted with a specific question about one individual, but please don't contact me with open-ended questions about an entire family line. I receive an average of two such emails per week, and since I have a busy work life, I simply do not have the time to type out entire branches of my family tree over and over. Please refer to and/or which is where I got most if not all of the information. I HAVE NOT POSTED AND WILL NEVER POST MY OWN FAMILY'S PERSONAL TREE ON THE INTERNET, SO THERE IS NO MAGIC LINK TO A MASTER FAMILY TREE THAT I CAN PROVIDE.

RE: Rebecca Davis (m. to Lemuel Allis/Ellis - son of Samuel Allis/Ellis)
Looking for a solid connection for Rebecca/Rebecka Davis Allis/Ellis 9ST8-248 ( to her supposed parents, Isaac Davis LDZ5-5BZ & Charity Hall LZVR-J2G (of Lee, Berkshire, Mass), and sibling, Reuben Davis LZVC-QXX (m. to Mary Polly Abbott) who trace back to Thomas Rogers of the Mayflower. Reuben Davis was born 13 Mar 1764 in Tyringham, Berkshire, Massachusetts & died in 1810 in Pompey, Onondaga, New York. The will for Isaac Davis (b. 9 January 1720 Tyringham, Tyringham, Berkshire, Massachusetts and d. 5 January 1780 Lee, Berkshire, Massachusetts) names wife, Charity, & children Rebecka and Reuben, along with other siblings (John, Sarah, Mary, Soloman/Solomon, Nathan, Charity, & Isaac), but does not mention any of their married names, spouses, or grandchildren. Also, Truman Leonard Jr mentions Lemuel Allis/Ellis family and his parents, Truman Leonard Sr & Roxanna Allis/Ellis in his journals with visits and other family history he found (accessed thru BYU Perry Collections). Reuben Davis names his last born, Lemuel Allis/Ellis, as found in his will. My Mother is also a Wing, which eventually ties into this line thru marriage. Thank you for all of those who have done research on our family lines/graves! Jackie Coleman (Lemuel Allis, son of Lemuel Allis & Rebecca Davis) (Roxanna Allis & Truman Leonard are the children of Rebecca & Lemuel, & parents of my Truman Leonard, Jr) (Truman Leonard Jr, grandson of Lemuel Allis & Rebecca Davis)

Amanda Davis Braffet, daughter of Reuben Davis & Mary Abbott (Reuben is brother to the Rebecca Iím searching for who married Lemuel Allis)

Abel Owen, husband to Elizabeth Abbott Davis, daughter of Reuben Davis & Mary Abbott (Reuben is brother to the Rebecca Iím searching for who married Lemuel Allis)

Lemuel Allisís father, Samuel Allis (married to Hannah Sheldon). This information Iím searching for is for Lemuelís wife, Rebecca Davis to her parents.

Link Root brother?
Hi Moo -

Sorry to bother you as I know you are busy, but can you link Stephen Root, born 1700 to Hope and Sarah Wright Root, with his younger brother, Aaron Root, born 1721? Here is documentation in the book Root Genealogical Records 1600-1870:

Can you tell if this is a family plot where Stephen and Aaron's father, Hope Root, and mother, Sarah Wright Root, might also be buried?

photos on 3 memorials
My name is Kate and I have been putting together a genealogy for my motherís ancestors. I have interspersed various photographs within the text to accent interesting facts about some ancestors. I plan to publish and print hard copy books for my immediate family and their children. I have included the following photos that you posted and I donít want to use them in my book without your explicit permission. I will include your credit with the photograph and Find A Grave in the citations.

Stephen Cook Memorial# 7103865
Rebeckah Flagg Cooke Memorial# 7103881
John Swann Memorial# 9799231

Last week a friend of mine who works in the printing industry approached me with an offer to print and bind my book at no charge if I allow the printer to use the content in a sample print run of approximately 100 books. They would not be sold but instead would be distributed to demonstrate digital ink jet technology. I would like to accept this offer, however, I cannot do so without gaining your permission to use your posted photographs.

Would you please grant me permission to use your posted photographs, listed above, in my book.

Thank you for your consideration, please respond at your earliest opportunity.

Edward Jackson #14229620
Hi, I added a photo of the First Settlers Monument, and highlighted Edward Jackson's name in the description (see caption on image). You might want to rearrange the photos so that his headstone appears first and the monument appears second. All the best! Evey :-)

Samuel moody
I am the great grandson of Samuel moody who was born in 1631, died in 1689 and is burried in the old Hadley cemetery. On a recent visit I was unable to find his grave site or headstone. Do you have information on this or whom I might contact? Thank you for your assistance.

no. 93363112 Stephen Warner
I would like your permission to use the photograph of the Stephen Warner grave in West Street Cemetery, Granby, MA. I would use the photograph in my computer-based genealogy program. If ever the day came when I published, I would certainly give you photographic credit.

Thank you-
