Leroy Swann Grave
Have tried to send a message through the edit process but that does process not work.

Leroy Swann (101503965) has another grave in the Mobile National Cemetery, Mobile, Alabama (59294242). The grave in the Mount Zion Cemetery is probably a memorial grave with actual remains interred in Mobile. The Verteran Headstone application form had "Form Returned" hand written on it.

Thanks

RE: Nunn in Randolph County
Thank you for your reply.
Bernice Nunn is in the 1910 & 1920 census as the daughter of:

William Rufus Nunn (1876-1946) # 101341709 and
Roxie Camellia Langley Nunn (1874-1960) # 101341363

My cousin, Jenny Nunn, agrees that these are Bernice's parents. Thank you for making the correction.

RE: Capt William S. Burt
I finally added the rest of the military note on William S. Burt's page. I'm sorry that I was so late to make this addition. William Burt sounds like a great guy. Wish I knew more about him.

RE: Virginia Death Record
Mike,
No, I haven't seen the VA record you mention for Florence Amanda (Norton) Brooks. If her daughter Estell (Brooks) Robinson was the informant, then yes, it seems likely she would know who Florence's parents were. If the record you mention is on Ancestry, I do not subscribe. Is there any way I can get a look at the record (death certificate?)?
Is the aunt you mention here in Coffee Co., TN?
Thanks!
Greg

Brooks (and Norton)
Hi Mike.
We haven't talked in some time. I am connected to the Coffee Co., TN Brooks family through Florence Amanda (Norton) Brooks. We last talked about Florence's Norton family and her brother(we believe), John Thomas Norton, who was my 2nd great-grandfather.
After nearly 4 years of practically zero activity (family issues, family health, etc.), I am slowly getting back in to the game, I hope (genealogy/family history).
Tonight I was refreshing my ,memory about the Coffee/Williamson/Franklin Co., TN Brooks family and found your photos of James Aaron Brooks, James Hillary Brooks, Willie Priscilla (Irvin) Brooks (etc.)on F.A.G. The picture of James Hillary Brooks shows him holding his infant son, Dewey. This picture of James Hillary and Dewey Brooks looks like it is cropped from a larger picture? If so, may I impose upon you for a copy of it?
My recent work has further filled out the descendants of Aaron White and Florence Amanda (Norton) Brooks, and I will be glad to share what I have found if you do not already have this info.
Thanks and best regards,
Greg Keeling

Mrs. Asa Hearne
This might be Easter Mary Jane Benton. Wife of Asa Hearne born in Georgia. She was born in Alabama, married 1823 in Georgia. One son was the Sheriff of Randolph Co.. Where did you get the story of the snake bite?

RE: Harris Cemetery
I know he has a headstone on the grave. I picked it out when I was about 3 years old and my maternal grandparents bought it. I think the picture is of a different grave. His grave is by the tree along the side fence of the cemetery. The headstone has a lamb on one side of it. Thank you though for getting back in touch with me I really appreciate it.

Why?
I want to thank you for posting my father's grave up, but I have to admit that I don't understand why you did. Please don't get me wrong as I said I am grateful, just confused as to why and how you even found him. Please let me know when you get a chance.
