Hi Bertha -
I looked her up on Ancestry and the latest I came up with was that she and husband William and their family lived in Woodbine, Harrison County, at the 1860 U.S. Census. As we know, the 1880 Census, which would have told you where they were, was lost in a fire. Bummer!
The other thing I thought of was that the newpaper clipping was from the Malvern Leader. If that obit referring to the 'cemetery east of town' is correctly referring to her having been buried east of Malvern rather than east of Hillsdale, then a whole new group of possible cemeteries opens up to you. Where were other relatives buried? I'd check them out too if I were you.
I can vouch that there is no marker, nor any record of her burial in Hillsdale. However, there was a tornado that swept through the cemetery (date unknown) which took many of the stones away. Hillsdale therefore has a high proportion of unmarked graves. Hers might be one of those. But even with that circumstance, some kind of burial record should have existed.
Sorry I couldn't help you more. Good luck!

Hi again -
The photo for her grave that you posted is not correct. I've posted correct photos. Would you please remove yours?
Thanx for your help!
|Jan Fenter||Gertrude Alice Knowlton, 161401179|
I'm doing a photo project at Lincoln Memorial Park mausoleum, Portland, Oregon. I found and photographed the crypt for Gertrude Alice Knowlton. Her crypt is next to her husband, Frank D. Knowlton. I've added photos to Alice's memorial page and linked her to her husband's memorial page. They are in the Mausoleum, Dahlia Corridor, with Alice in crypt 206.
If you don't like my photos, or don't want them on her memorial page, please contact me and I'll remove them.

Thanx for adding the info! I've created a memorial for Mariah and will be posting a photo soon.

The Hainsworth's are my family. I am wondering where you found the information on William Hainsworth, Pioneer Cemetery, Wellington, Sumner County, KS
Find A Grave Memorial ID # 161651300
I hadn't seen the name of William attached to Benjamin.
However, the date of death you list is the same as Benjamin's.
So, they may very well be the same person!
Are you related to the Hainsworth's?
Thanks! Jane A. (Hainsworth) Norris

I am trying to find out about the children of Charles Peyton Moore and his wife Dora Florence Moore in Memphis, Tennessee. Can you help me out? Any help would be appreciated.

Bertha, please fix my Grandma Jones' memorial by changing the spelling of her middle name. It is not Isabella, it is Isabel.

Hi Bertha and thank you on your inquiry on D.L. Cruzan. The photo is of D.L. and his wife "Amy", not his 2nd wife Mary.
D.L. and Mary met in Oklahoma, lived neighbors or close to each other. I don't know much about Mary, are you related?
