Life-long, third-generation Washingtonian. |
I generally take and post 3 photos of a headstone or plaque, but sometimes another if there is something that may be of interest nearby. Don't hesitate to ask that I delete a photo that I've posted, if there are too many. Also, please let me know if you want/need the original photo files (full resolution) sent to you, as well as posted (resized) here.
More than happy for you to let me know if you ever want new photos taken and posted (such as during different times of the year), or want different views than what I've taken.
Please notify me prior to copying my photos to any other site. It's usually fine with me, but I like to know where they will appear, as these photos are copyrighted.

Thanks for pointing out the discrepancy in the date of death in my posting for James Moore and the date shown on the headstone. However, it is the stone that is incorrect. We have documentation showing the actual date of death is the one I gave in the bio.

You are welcome, I can ask. I know a lot of the family

Thank you for the lovely tombstone photo with a Christmas wreath. Clark's parents traveled yearly from Iowa to Virginia to visit his grave: I'm not sure if they were ever there during the holidays. It's especially gratifying to see that you posted the photo on 6 Jan. 2015; Clark's father passed away on 16 Jan. -- (also named Clark & a U.S. Navy Veteran). Thanks again.

Sir, I am in the process of creating a page of remembrance for the above named and would like permission to use the photo of his grave. Of course, happy to credit you for your contribution.
