Dear Ty,

I would like permission to use the photo you took of Anna's grave on the new website I am creating for the Nebraska Society Daughters of the American Revolution. If allowed to do so, I would give you photo credit.

Best regards,
Shari

When you open the link in Adobe Reader it should have a bar on the top that says page 1 of 145. You will need to scroll down to page 105 or just scroll down to that lot number.

I actually just downloaded the file in the PDF format and then looked at it. It was much easier then trying scroll and read online. It takes forever for each page to load when trying to scroll through it online.

It was a really tough file for me to read and go through, so I just converted the whole thing to excel, so I could weed through it and scrub the data.

Hi,
This is from the Wilkes-Barre City Cemetery records. I believe those marked "moved from O.G.Y." means they were moved from Old/Other Grave Yard to that cemetery. The records indicate this person was born in Pittston,Pa and died of heart disease.

Here is a the link to those records: http://www.wilkes-barre.pa.us/forms/wbcemeteryrecordscomplete.pdf

This is a huge PDF file (145 pages) and is listed in order of lot number. He is on page 105. After you find the lot number then match the permit number that I have listed. You will probably need to zoom the file to 200% to be able to read it.

I hope this helps.

I haven't run across the name as of yet. I will keep an eye out for her. Vital records in Dodge County are very scarce before 1890, and the courthouse burned down in 1873, so the records at the county level from that are lost.

This is so great that you found this information!!! I know that you have been searching for this "needle in a haystack" piece of information. Is Nancy listed on Find A Grave? If so, please send me her memorial number, so I can link her with Lorenzo.

Hi again, You're probably getting tired of hearing from me, but I'm still searching for Nancy Gibbs!

I found in the 1880 US Census, that she lived in Hire, McDonough Co., Illinois. Both she and her parents were born in Tennessee, with her birth year being 1826.
I tried to find "Hire" in McDonough county, but it only has it listed as a "township", and that's about all. You can google it if you want, and see if there is any more information there.

Does this match up with any information that you have on her??

Hey...what is DOB/DOD on Nancy? I will keep looking, and no, I don't think my other contacts know where she is buried, but we'll keep searching!
