I would be more than happy to help you with your ancestors in any way I can. I do a lot of volunteer look ups for find a grave contributors, I do not mind helping you with your brick wall.|
**PLEASE.... PLEASE do not put copies of birth, death or marriage certificates or photo copies of any of these records, in the photo section of my memorials. If you want to point something out, just send document. Please be respectful and do not plaster such documents where pictures should be instead.
Thanks to everyone who visited and kindly left flowers on my memorials.

Great advice from long time member Stu:
I have had the misfortune to encounter some Find A Grave members who are nothing but bullies, and are emboldened by because they are not face to face with the people they are shoving around. I have no problem reporting such people to Find A Grave and Ancestry's Executive Action Team in Provo, and encourage you to do the same if you encounter such a gorgon. If you are feeling mistreated, and cannot work your differences out, or if you do not feel safe because of threats, report the abuse. You do not have to put up with it.

Fascinating about the Mennonite Cemetery! Sounds like it was quite an exploration, and I applaud your spirit in getting out there and investigating.
Ruth Brill was a huge help to my aunt, Maude Olsen, and I treasure the copies of the letters she exchanged with my aunt. They've been a great help in my attempts to figure out where my relations are buried.
So sad that you lost photos and documents to Ralph Brown. I hope that you did not lose the Frankfother book. I had limited interaction with him, but he did turn sour on me. After his departure from Find A Grave I was able to take over management of a number of memorials he'd created for my relations.
Eager to hear more about Ruth, and glad to know that she's still going strong.

I don't know Ruth Brill, but my aunt Maude Olsen was in contact with her years ago (she died in 2007) about the Frankfother connection, and I have some copies of correspondence between them.
Mary Margaret Bloom was my great grandmother, her daughter, Cora, being my grandmother (Bosler). I have a fair amount of photos, particularly of my great aunt Leona, with whom my grandmother was particularly close. My aunt Maude Olsen had much more, and I assume her surviving son, Richard, has them.
I've been trying to straighten out where Mary and Thomas Frankfother, and Leona, are buried, but there is conflicting information, including in official records and obituaries of the day. I believe they are buried in the Jerry City Cemetery, their tombstones lost.
Excuse my tardy response, but I just found your message. Also excuse my blank, accidental message.
All the best,

I am pretty confident that Lysander Mortimer Van Dyke died in Florida. I can ask my father if he knows why he was living there at that time.
Wife #1 Minerva Minnie May Schafer Van Dyke-died March 1939 in NJ.
children: Irma, Lawrence, Wava, Bessie, Jessie
Wife #2 Mary "Mollie" Kester Getzinger Van Dyke
Married Lysander August 1939 Lima, Ohio.
Paulsboro, NJ is where Lysander Mortimer's daughter (Irma Van Dyke Woodard) from his first marriage lived. According to my dad, Minnie Van Dyke developed parkinsons disease. Near the end, she went to live with her daughter Irma and her husband Andrew Woodard. She died while living with them. Lysander was a bit of a "rounder" according to my dad and was living in Ohio at the time.
Minnie died in March of 1939. At the time Lysander was living at the boarding house of Mary "Mollie" Kester Getzinger in Lima, Ohio. According to my records Lysander married Mollie in August 1939. My father remembers meeting Mollie but didn't realize that his grandfather ever actually married her. I have a copy of their wedding announcement from 1939.
Census records support this oral record I received from my dad. Please let me know if you need any additional clarification on the grave records.
