Bio and Links
Bio Photo My original reason for getting involved with this website was a simple one. To attempt to correct errors that I had found on other websites that contained wrong information about my own personal family.

Every attempt is made to always place correct, updated information on my memorials. However, new information is always becoming available and sometimes changes are needed in order to update memorials. While I do agree that this is an important part of keeping a healthy website, apparently the “edit” button has become a few peoples ‘best friend’.

I will have to ask of anyone submitting an update or change to any of my memorials, to hit the edit tab on the memorial and then the "Suggest any other correction or addition" link only. This will allow you to INCLUDE YOUR SOURCE OF INFORMATION so that the changes you are requesting can be treated as absolute documented facts. If you are asking for changes to be made to a memorial, you must have found your information somewhere – I simply want to know where you got it. Any request made without this information will be declined. If you need to send me a note or an e-mail to let me know how you have come across this new or updated information, then that’s what we’ll need to do.

I try to be so careful with anything that I place on my memorials, I will expect no less from anyone else that is requesting any kind of change be made to them.

On the other hand, if you are related to the person in question, let me know and I'll be more than happy to consider a memorial transfer to you and then you may properly look after them with the love and attention that I’m sure you are showing your other family memorials.

Thank you for understanding. I simply don't see any other way of handling this change Findagrave has bestowed upon us and still keep the integrity (correctness) that these memorials deserve.

God Bless and have an incredible day. I intend to.

RE: Thomas & Milinda Roush
Willi, Thank you so much for replying. I have had so much fun following the Roush line. I wonder if you might be able to help me with the Kearns line. My father, Wm Haddox's mother was Sarah Belle Kearns (1886-1914), she died when dad was 4 years old. He then went to Sarah's father and Mother, Wm (Dad was named after him) Kearns 1853-? & Margaret Spaun (1859-1915. Tragically Margaret died one year later after his mother died. I have never been able to find any information about Margaret Spaun. Would you have any information on her that you would share? I would very much appreciate it.

Thank you,

Thomas & Milinda Roush
I just found this beautiful picture of the Zerkel Cemetery where both my Gt grandparents, Thomas and Malinda Roush are buried. I love your picture and the description of it. I really never knew for certain just where they were buried and I was thrilled to learn that it was here. I live in California and it is so nice of you to share this picture on Ancestory, other wise I would never have been be able to see the cemetery or record it on our family info tree. Just want to say, THANK YOU! Marilyn

RE: Yancey photo
Thanks. Did you suggest he also link husband, wife and son?

I'm not related to these Yancey's but I've been helping someone that maintains a Yancey genealogy website. I'm also a Co-Admin for the Yancey DNA project.
