I have been working on my family genealogy for over 25 years. I discovered findagrave.com in mid 2009. I was so impressed with the helpful nature of people (photo requests, offers for obituary assistance etc.) that I feel a responsibility to give back to this community of volunteers. |
I have fielded many requests to use the images that I have uploaded, so to make things simple, please feel free to copy and use any of the photos I've posted on findagrave.com. As far as I am concerned, the pictures I've taken and posted are now part of the public domain and can be used by anyone for any purpose. There is no desire on my part for ANY person who uses my photos to cite me in any way. I STRONGLY urge my fellow Contributors to do the same.
In the (likely) event of errors or omissions, once notified I will make every effort to make the correction within 24 hours and to acknowledge said correction.
As far as memorial transfers go, I WANT to transfer memorials to family members. This would be my preference. However, if you are not a family member but have additional pertinent information that you would like to add, just ask for the transfer and I will comply with your request. That being said, this is not a numbers game so let your conscience be your guide.
In closing, my heart felt thanks goes out to my fellow volunteers who have so generously and diligently worked to make this site such a valuable resource to the public.
Keep up the good work!!!!!!!

Thank you so much for posting the pictures :)

Thank you very much for the photo of the Cross Family Headstone at Pine Grove Cemetery. George Lewis Cross is the first major league baseball player in my tree.
He had a short career with thwe Cincinnati Reds in the late 1890's.
I really appreciate everything that you do on this site.

I went to Amoskeag Cemetery and found a William C with the same birth and death dates. I cross references it with the census and I found William and no Charles. Do you think they are one in the same. I have the photo just not sure if I should make a new person or if Charles should be edited to William. Thanks you. Valerie

Thank you for dropping me the note about the burial location for Anna needing to be changed. For some reason I didn't see the edit request on that, but it is corrected now to show that she is in the cemetery with her parents. Thank you again for getting those photographs for me.

That is a great picture! Thank you so much.
|Devil Kitty Designs||Anna Healy|
Thank you so much for sending me the links for Anna's parents and for the photos of the family grave site.

I saw the memrial you added...you are very speedy! I know she is related to me, but I haven't finished her line yet. As for transferring the memorial...I am not in this for the numbers, like some are. She is family, and I would be honored to care for her page, but I am not a close relative. So...I will leave that up to you, and whichever you prefer.
