Genealogy has always been a hobby of mine and I have been actively working in genealogy for about 20 years now. I am a certified genealogist and have just started my own Genealogy Research business. I believe it is important to know where you came from to know where you are going.|
I am an Educational Consultant and was a school teacher for about 10 years, ranging from 2nd grade to 6th grade. I have a Bachelor of Science in Education, a Master of Arts in Education, and a Master of Arts in Educational Administration.
I am a single mom to a beautiful eight-year old little girl, who is the joy of my life, so my favorite past time is being with her! Luckily she enjoys genealogy and research as well. Other than researching, I enjoy photography, reading, hiking, cycling, swimming, skiing, gardening, going to the beach, and traveling.
Best wishes to everyone and good luck on your journey to completing your tree!

|Bonnie Maskery||Monhollon Cemetery|
You photographed the cemetery sign for Monhollon Cemetery in Corbin, Whitley, Kentucky. I am curious to find out if this is/was a family cemetery as there are 28 recorded memorials for this site and the family name is spelled MONHOLLEN (E instead of O). If you get a chance, could you find out the history of this cemetery and if it is a family cemetery? Just wondering if the sign is spelled incorrectly. All of my family history indicates that the family surname is spelled MONHOLLEN-with an E and not and O. Thanks for anything you can find can out.
|Sherman Gibbs||Martha's date of death|
Is there some reason you want to keep the date of death for Martha Anne Ellison Owens, wife of Joe and daughter of Asa and Armelda Barton, as 1939? Her obit, her death certificate and her tombstone all give 1939.

How are you related to this lady? I am assuming you are as she is one of few you have posted. I would like to have her connected to her parents, Asa Ellison and Armelda Barton.

Thanks for the photo on the subject name above. Someone told me that his wife and two of his children are buried next to him - could you take those as well. I would really appreciate it.
Thanks again for your assistance with this family.
Tell your daughter I said thanks as well for helping you out with this - a Great photo of you two.
Let me know if I can photograph any in the Glasgow, KY area for you.
