Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a native of Massachusetts but have lived in Florida more than 35 years. I spent eight years in the Air Force and then over 45 years in the computer industry as a software engineer before retiring in 1998.
I am a volunteer webmaster for www.508pir.org, a site dedicated to men of the 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment. The 508th jumped into Normandy and Holland and fought in the Battle of the Bulge in WW-II. Subsequently the regiment fought in Korea and Vietnam and today is seeing duty in Afghanistan and Iraq.
The web site has benefited on a number of occasions with photos contributed by Find-A-Grave volunteers
I felt that those contributions should be reciprocated and I have become a volunteer myself.

Thank you!
I just stumbled upon the page for John Shultz, my grandfather, and saw you added an image of him I'd never seen before. Going to 508pir.org from your profile led me to even more things about him I never knew or had never seen. I forwarded your website on to my mother and she said she'd never seen some of that before either. Thank you so much! You made my day.

Richard V. Slagle
Please remove the picture on find a grave site for Richard V. Slagle. It is not a picture of my father. He was not in the service as he would only have been 13 years old.

RE: Moser photo
Dick, glad I could help. By the way Mr. Moser's middle initial is "W" and not "M"

Photo Reqests for Fernwood Cemetery
Hi Dick,

We have a group of volunteers heading out to Fernwood Cemetery on the 23rd of Nov to fulfill many photo requests. We would gladly fulfill your requests if you be so kind in calling the Cemetery and obtaining the plot location for us.

Thanks in advance,

Dana

RE: Note
Because you have a memorial in that cemetery, so thought you had an idea, but guess not. Sorry to trouble you.

Note
I was told by another F.A.G. user, that there is no Long Prairie Cemetery, Todd County, Minnesota. Yet there is such a cemetery on F.A.G. and there are 62 plus burials in that cemetery. I created a memorial for George Karl LaFrenz and posted a gravestone picture, that was sent to me by a family member living in Minnesota. My questions to you are, what is correct? Yes there is a Long Prairie Cemetery? Would you happen to know if George Karl LaFrenz is buried there? The person told me he is really buried in Evergreen Cemetery. Is there someone I may call to find out this information? Where would this cemetery be? Thanks for your help.
