RE: Distant Relative
Hi Naomi,

Yes, my grandmother was Inez Aileen Little. She and my grandfather, Edgar Thompson, lived in Colorada and then moved to Oregon in the early 1940s or late 1930s. I know my father, Theodore Norman Thompson, started first grade in Sandy, Oregon, where they had a farm. They also owned a gas station and a lumber mill.

I am just trying to find out more about her side of the family. Unfortunately, my grandparents and their children were not very "family oriented". My parents were divorced when I was about six years old and I have had little contact with the Thompson family.

Please feel free to contact me at cst_jackson@yahoo.com or on Facebook--- Connie Thompson-Jackson.

Thank you so much,
Connie

Distant Relative
hello Naomi,

I have been doing research on my family history and have discovered that you are a cousin of mine. Your grandfather, William Little, and my grandmother, Inez Little, were siblings. I came across your mother's obituary through that research. I am sorry to read of her passing. She and I are close to the same age. I was born in 1953 in Tacoma, WA. What makes this connection even more interesting to me is that she lived in Holdrege, NE at the time of her passing. My husband's mother and family are from Holdrege. Their family name is Stoltenberg. I thought perhaps we may have mutual friends and/or family connections through that family as well.

I would love to hear from you.

Again, I am so sorry to read of your loss. It is apparent from your postings that you were very close and that you still miss your mother very much.

RE: Charlene Little
You are most welcome. When you're in Del Norte, stop by Town Hall - they have a map that will help you locate your grave sites. I hope to perhaps add one to the cemetery site when I get finished uploading all the grave sites.
