Becky Jacobs graduated from Elgin High School. 8 generations of my family is buried in the Prospect Cemetery. (Live in Abilene, TX since 1977). I have worked on genealogy research for 48 years and just completed my 29th book. The 1st book I published "The Scrapbook of Prospect Ohio Pioneers" in 1988 from clippings from my Great Grandmother Rebecca Jane Bevis Hedges of whom I was named. My dad, Carl L. Jacobs was a Prospect township trustee. My great grandfather Stephen Bingham McWherter was the Sexton at the cemetery from 1921 until his death in 1923.I have checked these records against death and census records. Over 8500 obits from my cousin Sarah Longnecker Reichardt's scrapbooks, she gave me years ago along with obits from the Prospect Monitor, Richwood Gazette and Marysville Journal Tribune, Marion Star obits will be added as time permits.
