|My purpose on this site is to help people. Having said that, I also have put in a lot of work so I would request your consideration about a few things.|
1) PHOTOS - Any photos posted by me on this website may be used for your personal, non-commercial use without contacting me as long as I am given credit in the form of "Photo taken by Christopher Baker" in your re-posting or use in your family tree. Bulk copying my photos for use on another site is not allowed and violates my copyright. Also, dropping a "thank you message" on my public wall here is always appreciated. :-)
2) TRANSFERS - Every edit you want to make can be made using the "Edit" menu on the memorial. There is no advantage to "managing" a memorial.
This site is not about collecting memorials that you manage but about providing information to those seeking it.
Some people are on this site just to add their relatives. This is great. But some of us are here to add entire cemeteries so people can find their relatives. It is a lot of work to go thru an entire cemetery and add this data and/or take the photos for 1,000's of markers!
My time is limited and taking time to transfer memorials so someone can have all their distant relatives under their "managed memorials" count is not what this site is about. You can make all the same edits if you "manage" the memorial or not using the "Edit" menu!
Additionally, I can't tell you how many people request the same memorial to be transferred. YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY PERSON RELATED TO A MEMORIAL ON THIS SITE. So now what happens when someone requests the transfer from you?
Or maybe you will refuse to add the information you have if you can't manage it ... I have heard that one too believe it or not. Think about that a while! You are missing the entire point of this site.
Having said this, I also believe in the site's policy of "Family First." I strongly believe that a direct family member (sibling, parent, grand parent), of any generation, deserve to maintain the memorial. Therefore, if you are a DIRECT relative (sibling, parent, grand parent, great-grandparent, etc.) OF ANY GENERATION then I will be happy to transfer management to you. NOTE: Unlike the site policy / FAQ that places other limits like only 4 generations, I don't limit the generations.
Additionally, if you are a large contributor on this site or you upload photos for the memorial including grave marker and you sponsor the memorial, I do take that into consideration.
If it is a cousin, an aunt, an uncle, etc. then please just send a correction and don't ask for a transfer.
I think most people on this site follow a similar policy. I hope you can understand this balance.
IF YOU MEET THIS CRITERIA AND WANT TO REQUEST A TRANSFER, THEN PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR TRANSFER REQUEST USING THE "SUGGEST A CORRECTION" (SEE BELOW) USING THE "BIO" SECTION. INCLUDE YOUR RELATIONSHIP IN THE REQUEST.
3) ALL EDIT/ADDITION REQUESTS - Find the person's memorial you want to suggest a change for and choose the "Edit" in the top right, then choose the item you want to edit under "Suggest a Correction" (birth/death date/location, bio, relatives, etc.) PLEASE DON'T SEND EDIT REQUESTS TO ME HERE!!!!

|David Read||Read Family at Bethania|
I was wondering if you would allow transfer of the above family of four consisting of Blatchford, Auguste, Wilbur and Ruth Read.
Blatchford was my grandfather and I would like to add and bios for he and his wife, add GPS coordinates etc. My uncle Willie, who lived with us when he died, would also be appreciated.
As you can see from the site, I have already added photos.
|Brett Mollenhauer||Mollenhauer Family at Bethania|
I was just inquiring whether you have any information on the Mollenhauer's that are buried at Bethania. I wasn't sure if you would or if you were documenting the cemetery. I believe they are all related to my g-great uncle Adolf "Frank" Mollenhauer. Just trying to get more info.
Thanks, Brett Mollenhauer
|Michael Morris||Ruth Morris|
You added a page for Ruth Morris. This is my grandmother. She died when I father was very young. He was not allowed to go to her funeral, and he has never seen her grave. Would you please take a picture of her monument stone?
She was buried at Bethania Cemetery. She was buried 7/13/1960 on Lot 59, Section 6, Division E.
|Betty Kozubek||RE: Several family members request to transfer to me|
I sent a bunch of these to you, but I picked up my brother's Find A Grave number instead of mine, so I sent another edit with my correct Find A Grave number. Sorry.
I am the great great grandchild of William and Amanda Panter and would request a transfer to my name. Here is the memorial number of Amandaw W. Panter 106163191. I have information to link to the whole Panter family in another cemetery and also the parents of Amanda. I would appreciate that. I would also request the rest of the Panters (Bertha, Charles, Elsie, George, George C. Harry, Infant, Paul C, William A.

Thanks for transferring my great grandfather's memorial to me. Appreciate it. I'm amazed at how many memorials you've set up. Thank you for all that work you've done.

There is no head stone in place yet. Would you like a photo of the grave site? Also, I placed the photo of Everette W Breig as requested.
|Lolita Cunningham||Santo and Bertha Passarelli|
Thank you so much for posting these two sites. They are the great grandparents of my nephew and Niece whose father passed away at age 26. They grew up not knowing their father and very little about his family. Your posting have definitely put some detail to the family line.
Santo's obituary is a definate addition to our records.
Thank you so much.
