Bio and Links
Bio Photo My name is Brenda (Boyer) Kohr. My husband, Pete, and I are researching his side of the family (Kohr/Smith)&(Minnich/Buxton), as well as my own (Boyer/Grimes) & (Beil/Shott). We are not trying to see how many memorials we can amass so that we can have our numbers posted in the "Top Contributors" catagory. We want to make memorials to pay tribute to our families and friends and hopefully help others to find theirs.

We enjoy helping others by photographing grave markers. There are times that we may photograph markers that are near the ones we were asked to take photos of, or if we see one with our surnames. If there is no memorial for these extra photos that we take....I create one. If by chance I happen to create a memorial for a relative or a friend of yours don't hesitate to ask for a transfer. I don't feel the need to keep memorials that I have created. (unless they are family) I only created them so that someone may find a member of their family or a friend.

NOTE: - GUIDELINES ....definition of...

A guideline is a statement by which to determine a course of action. By definition, following a guideline is never mandatory. Guidelines are NOT binding.

Your tombstone stands among the rest
Neglected and alone
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished marble stone

It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born

Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood and bone
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own

Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so

I wonder if you lived and loved
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot
And come to visit you

Those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us every day,
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear.

Did you get over to Section K, Lot 44? That is where the Lamberton child was buried.

Thank you for this one also. I hope you enjoyed your day. I noticed on this one that there is a discrepancy about his birth (1854 or 1856). Linda

Thank you so much for the photos. Has the headstone been vandalized? You have given a lot of your time for others. Blessings on you. Linda

RE: William B. Lamberton
Some of my husbands family is buried in Greencastle, PA. (Name Rhoadarmer). A tall, large headstone is there with multiple names on it. Last time we were there, he brought out the tall ladder and I cleaned the headstone. We travel in a 40 ft M.H. so have ladders at our disposal. On my husbands mother's side of the family, is the name Chambers. My husband comes from the 4 Chambers brothers who came over and one established Chambersburg. We have been back several times to visit. So fun back there. Linda

That was a pleasant surprise. Thank you so much for sending it on to me. I have put it in his memorial. Do you live near by? This Lamberton family was a very impressive family. Hope there are relatives left who will find them and read some of the articles that we have found. Not always easy to find these gems. Again thank you so much. Linda

Drop by to say hi!
Just looking back at and editing (when needed) our family sites. I wanted to thank both of you again for all the hard work and fine photos you've provided to our Mumper family over the years. Wish we could reciprocate. Trusting you're well and still filling the genealogical gap. Best regards.
