Julie Ann (Eskridge) Taylor|
SURNAMES: ESKRIDGE, ROY, BEAUCHAMP, CHUMBLEY, WILSON, TAYLOR, COLE, but many more that branch off.
My father - Lawrence Eskridge
Paternal GF: Clarence Eskridge
Paternal GM: Deliah Beauchamp
My mother - Lois Dean (ROY) Eskridge
Maternal GF: Thomas Cosby ROY
Maternal GM: Delpha Ann CHUMBLEY
My goal is to provide accurate up-to-date information for my family members, as well as linking them up, parents, spouse and children listed. However, I have added some very close friends and/or neighbors. If my children or grandchildren one day start to search they will find reliable information on our family.
I have some books on my family, which I am researching. I find that even having a few sites, requires time to research out some of the distant family members, but who are in the direct lineage of the family links. I believe FAG is a very good site for acquiring that information.
Personally, I do not understand why "contributors" who are creating these sites by lists, would not want to transfer a site over to any family member and/or a close friend, but they do. My nightmare is that one of these listers will get my site when I make the journey to eternity and will deny one of my own family members the honor to have my memorial site to make appropriate updates.. Really sad..
I want to thank all the contributors who have family listed, so that when they are found, they happily transfer the member over to anyone who knows the relative because that person means something to someone, and not just a statistic. Thank you so much.
I have run across "fallen members." With these members having passed away; that memorial is no longer updated unless the memorial is transferred. I have asked many times for some of these fallen members sites, only because they are related to my family. I would never ask for anyone that is not in my family.. I have no reason to do that.
Finally, I do sponsor my family members sites when I feel that I have them linked as far as I can, and all the information seems complete. I don't mind sending in the sponsership at that point, and I hope I can eventually get all of them there, that is my goal. Again, I am glad that there is a place I can come to greive my parents, and grandparents without having to drive thousands of miles to be at their grave.. Thank you FAG, I hope the sponserships will continue to come in so that this site will be available to all who are looking for their family.

I first came across your Mother on Find A Grave and immediately fell in love with the picture of her in the dress with it spread out like wings and then visited your Dad. I try to visit at least on Birthdays and Angel Days for those I come across that make me smile when I visit.
I was going to do the updates that you requested, but I'm not sure this is the correct memorial. If your Elizabeth died in Warren Co. in 1870, why would she be buried in Floyd Co. with a 1907 date on her stone? The month and day don't match either. I don't know where Warren Co. is, but it's not nearby. If you have any proof that this is the correct lady, I'll make the changes. Douser

A clarification: I am asking about Pile Cemetery #2, for which there are no pictures.
Yes, I do know about Pile Cemetery #1. I have been there a number of times. The cemetery is off the main road in Buras. To get to it, you go down the farm road, park at the barn, go through a farm gate and then climb through overgrowth until you get to the top of the hill. There you will find a clearing and a flagpole and a veterans marker honoring William Pile, the Revolutionary ancestor, along with a number of other headstones. They are in remarkably good condition. Obviously someone is caring for them. I have met Junior Carmen, who is a relative of some sort as well.
I am a direct descendant of Hannah Duncan Pile through Meador and Wilson lines.
I have also visited the Duncan Cemetery nearby. where Hannah's parents are buride.

Do you know where this cemetery is? I see that you are the manager of James Matthew Pile in this cemetery.
I often refer to Find a Grave by its initials but I think it looks a bit nicer to use Find A Grave rather than Find A Grave. At least, the reader should realize that these are initials and not a slur on a persons orientation. I also use "Find a Grave.com (Find A Grave)" the first time I mention us.

|C. T. Lewis||Beauchamp Family Cemetery|
I transferred a number of memorials from this cemetery to you for your future management.
By chance, do you have an overall photo of this family cemetery? If so, it would make a nice addition to the FindaGrave main page for this cemetery.
|Rick Weaver||Martha Wells|
A delayed big THANK YOU for providing the photo of Martha Wells' monument! I sincerely appreciate you taking the the time to do it.
Very Best Regards,

I've made the transfer of Robert Norton to you, this way you can add lots of family info. !! No he is not family, I was on vacation and taking family pictures for myself and decided to take a few extra.:)
|Anne Watt||Morris Family Graveyard|
Does anyone have directions to the Morris Family Graveyard? I am a descendant of William Morris and Mary Beauchamp. Would like to take a trip and see the graveyard.
