RE: photo requests
No, and I always am sad to say this, but there are no markers for Anna or Claude. They are buried in Division 12/f and b, Lot 68.
Other names buried in that lot are Corsor(n) and Wilder. Their markers are present, but the spaces for Anna and Claude are grass.

Regards,
Brad

Mary Joslyn
Mary Joslyn is recorded as being buried in Joslyn Plot 201 Lot 2. The only headstone that appears to be on the lot is that for Sanford Joslyn, 1856 - 1924. I added a photo of his headstone to his findagrave page and I also added a photo of that Joslyn lot which shows only Sanford's headstone.

Al Joslyn
Per the Glens Falls Cemetery internment list, Al Joslyn was "removed from Joslyn Plot 23 Lot 66." That is the only information I have and I did not see a headstone for Al on Lot 66 in Plot 23.....

Isabella Butler
I uploaded a photo of the headstone for "MOTHER" in the Butler plot. The lighting was not in my favor and I may very well upload a better photo soon. And FYI, I will also soon be uploading photos for all the headstones in the Butler plot.

RE: Photo Requests
Phelps in Manlius village cemetery--
There are a few of your requests I have not found yet. There is no headstone for a Ralph or any other Phelps in sec 4 lot 17. That is not unusual for that cemetery--they seem to have buried children anywhere with no rhyme or reason. Sometimes the undertakers put them in caskets with other unrelated people to save the families money. (And I didn't just make this up!) I will spray the mossy stones with some biocide when it gets a little warmer and replace some of the pictures, especially that of Ernest (badly stained by algae)later on in the spring. Someone is actively tending the grave of Marian and Glen, by the way.

RE: DWAIN FINLINSON, Memorial# 69438
HI DL Melville,

I changed the memorial to reflect 1937 as the death year. But I did that because the headstone has that year, and it is best to have the same information on the memorial so others are not confused which is the proper memorial. I believe the actual death year was 1938. The death certificate reflects 1938 by three different individuals signing off on it. But the clincher for me is the clip from the Millard County Chronicle, from the date February 10, 1938. So I think the headstone is wrong and the cemetery record as well. A copy of the clip is posted on the memorial. The date is listed on the caption for the clip of the article on the memorial page.

Anyway let me know what you think, Thanks Redriver (#47269236)

RE: Naomi Lyman Wise
Yes, she was moved from the Clinton cemetery in 2009, so the memorial in Clinton should be deleted.
This information was obtained from the West Point cemetery office. Mystery solved. Thanks.

RE: Naomi Lyman Wise
Thanks for the information. I will do the research and try and get the answer. We actually met Mr. Wise the day the marker was installed. We talked to him for a long time while the work was being done. He told us a lot about both wives but never mentioned that Naomi was not actually buried there. I'll get back to you asap.
Thanks.

Root Family in Fairview Cemetery
Sorry I did not get photos of the gravestones of Willie D. & Ruby E. Root when I was at the Fairview Cemetery. I happened upon the Willie J. & Hattie Root & Charles gravestones when visiting the graves of relatives in Sect. C...a short distance from the Root stones...so I snapped a couple quick pictures. (obviously not the right Willie Root) I believe Willie D. Root was said to be in Sect. B. I will try to make a note of that when I next visit Fairview Cemetery if your request is still not fulfilled. It does take a little time to find some of the stones in the cemetery...especially if they are flat markers.
