"When ye are in the service of your fellow beings, ye are only in the service of your God."|
This is a fun and interesting hobby for me, as well as a great way to perform a meaningful community service to others. Someday I hope to have more free time to devote to it.
In fairness to those who may have closer ties to a memorial, please read the Transfer Guidelines prior to requesting a transfer. I will make exceptions if I am doing photo requests for you. You do not need to "manage" every memorial that is part of your family tree. Remember that this site is for locating burials, not building a tree. There are other websites that are more suitable for that purpose. I will be happy to make any links and corrections. PLEASE use the SAC feature ("Edit" tab). Please do not ask me to do links to any "Burial Unknown". Do your homework, first. FIND A GRAVE ADMINISTRATORS SUPPORT THIS POLICY. Please feel free to add photos where appropriate, as you do not need to manage the memorial to add photos.
Please be kind to Photo Volunteers! We are out there in all kinds of weather in a variety of conditions to find your friend's/relative's graves. We are not after a Pulitzer Prize and sometimes even our best effort may produce a not-so-good photo. If any of my photos are not to your liking, please leave me a message and I will try to get a better one. I will not be offended.
NOTE: Due to the uncalled-for accusation by another unhappy contributor, I feel the need to make this statement: All photos that I have posted on Find a Grave ARE photos that I have taken myself, or, in the case of a few portrait photos, I received permission to use them and it is so stated in the photo's caption. Photos that I've posted of cemetery gates, signs, statues, buildings, points of interest, mausoleums, etc. that have been added to a cemetery's profile page were ALL taken by me and were given to the Admins of this site for posting if they chose to do so. Family photos are all photos that are in my possession, taken by me or immediate family members who are no longer living. I have never lifted photos from other websites so if you see photos on other websites that have been posted by me to Find a Grave, those photos were lifted from this site and used without my permission. I have only given permission to others to copy headstone photos, not any other type of photo.
Since March 2013 I have taken over management of approximately 25,000 memorials in Inglewood Park Cemetery from Chris Mills. Please continue to send suggestions for corrections using the "Edit" tab and I will get to them as soon as I can.

Forgot to add- if you come across a Charles K. Pabst, 1872- March 16, 1911 he is her spouse and most likely buried in the same county. We have not found his headstone yet. I'd be most appreciative of a note if you find him.

Firstly, thank you for the photograph of my Great-Great Grandma's headstone. I'd like to ask how you knew her maiden name? It is not on the headstone. I'm attempting to find out more about her history.

You're right. Thank you for the suggestion. I, again, thank you for your helpfulness. God bless your day.
|Jean||RE: See you next week!|
I hope so, too. Kara and Stevie want to come along. I thought you'd enjoy seeing them again. It's been a long time. Talk to you soon.

Thank you so much for the pics of Ruth's grave. I think it's the right "Ruth" since the years indicated are reasonable. I am really trying to find her husband, Phillip McSweeney, but have not found him yet. Since he is not buried with her, I will have to keep up the search. They were my good neighbors when I was stationed/flew out of Naval Air Station Barbers Point, Hawaii in the early 1970's.

|postkrispykritters||Clara Weyant - thanks!|
Hi, B.J. - My siblings and I were always referred to as "Crispy Critters" or "Post Toasties" growing up, so thanks for the 60's commercial link...LOL! I really appreciate the time and energy you took fulfilling my photo request, she was a dear aunt of mine. Have a wonderful day!

I thought perhaps you might like a transfer of Mr. Duart???
Just let me know.
|Vanessa Price Harris||RE: Ella (Ellar?) Singleton|
Thank you and yes this is the correct Ella Garrett Singleton.
I have her from the 1880 through the 1940 census.
She was in the house with her parents in 1880 and the rest of the time she is with her husband Mathew and children.
