Richard Welty
Thanks for the memories
Hi
I knew Bill and Frannie when they lived in Fontana - Frannie used to come over and visit my dad (Richard) when Dick Sr. and hazel was in town from San Diego. I helped Dave and Dick move back in 1962, as I recall from up around Orange County.
That pic of the gas station on PCH reminded me of the time when I was visiting with them and I helped him open - I can still remember the crank coke machine and putting the Bardahl displays out front.
Dick Sr has no grave because he passed away while living with his daughter Kassie in Lakeside - she had him cremated and scattered.
My wife and I met Mary Lou Moore in Tacoma WA about 23 years ago, right after she retired from Edison, prior to her moving to New Mexico.
Hazel is buried at El Camino in Sorrento Valley (San Diego).
My Dad, Dick Jr is buried next to his mother (Tessie) in Norco.
