I believe some people are reading way too much into Find A Grave rules. Transfers are mandatory by the rules - if you are directly related (to a certain degree).
If you are not related closely, it is not mandatory... BUT - there is not rule stating I can not transfer memorials to someone who desire's a friend or distant relatives memorial.
I do have some memorials that are not connected to my Family research. If you see a memorial that is from your family (or friends), let me know. If the memorial is not part of my family search - I will be happy to transfer it to you regardless of your relationship.
You can catch me quicker by e-mail.

My mother daughter of Jacob Beaver and Emma "Emily"Smart Beaver isnt mentioned as a daughter to them on her or his Memorial.She was the youngest and the third daughter.Leona Della Beaver.She was born in 1921 and died in 1959 three days before xmas.I was just eight years old.I am her youngest son richard gordon jones.She had four boys and four daughters total of eight children.She was married to Flay Eugene Jones.I would thank you if you can please add her name to both of their memorials.I would but dont know how.There might be other changes also to make.Thanks alot.I just joined and I cant beleive my great great grandfather was a general.Gen.John C Carson.My other grandfather was a private in the Confederate war.Amazing aint it what u can find..Thanks

Thanks for a well done and informative website for John and William Smart. Is the oblisk located at Brittian Church Cemetery?
|Suzzette G Yandle||Jacob "Yock" Lail|
Thank you for the correction from Jock to Yock. I have made the name change. Would you like me to transfer Emily Elizabeth Lail's Find A Grave memorial to you? I like what you said in your Bio.
|Trackerjack||Howell Family Image Request|
It has been my honor to fulfill your request for Headstone images for the family of Columbus and Barbara Howell.
FYI, adjacent to this headstone is another that may be part of their family. The souls name is Cynthia C. Howell (14 April 1958 - 24 June 1974). The following inscription is included: 'My Precious Daughter"
If this is part of your search then if you create a memorial for her and formally request images, I'd be happy to populate it with the appropriate images which I've already acquired.
Keep up the good work!
|T.A.S.||RE: William Bridges (1838-1906)|
We are not related but I believe our ancestors served in the same Civil War company. Do you have any information on that? I have both serving in Company C of the 10th Regiment of NC Artillery.

Are you a descendant of William Bridges (1838-1906)?
