Bio Photo This is a photo of my ggg grandmothers grave.
I have never seen the grave. I really appreciate the person who took the photo.
Thanks a lot.

It is my wish that I have entered someone you are looking for. If I have entered any one related to you and they are not related to me - I will be happy to transfer. My goal is not to see how many memorial I can create, but to help you find your love ones . I don't mean to offend anybody, the memorials are made so love ones can find their relatives. If I have entered anything incorrectly, I will be glad to correct.

Any and all information or pictures, I have uploaded, are meant for sharing. Family memories were meant to be passed on. I just don't understand anyone that thinks different. I think if you don't want to share, than don't put them on a public site.
-------------------------------------------------
Today we walked where others walked
On a lonely, windswept hill;
Today we talked where other cried
For Loved Ones whose lives are stilled.

Today our hearts were touched
By graves of tiny babies;
Snatched from the arms of loving kin,
In the heartbreak of the ages.

Today we saw where the grandparents lay
In the last sleep of their time;
Lying under the trees and clouds -
Their beds kissed by the sun and wind.

Today we wondered about an unmarked spot;
Who lies beneath this hollowed ground?
Was it a babe, child, young or old?
No indication could be found.

Today we saw where Mom and Dad lay.
We had been here once before
On a day we'd all like to forget,
But will remember forever more.

Today we recorded for kith and kin
The graves of ancestors past;
To be preserved for generations hence,
A record we hope will last.

Cherish it, my friend; preserve it, my friend,
For stones sometimes crumble to dust
And generations of folks yet to come
Will be grateful for your trust.

George William Johnson Jr.
Dear Mary:

The death date for George William Johnson Jr. is 14 May 1961 instead of 10 May 1961. The Texas Death Certificate has 14 May 1961 written on it at the top of the form.

This is just a transcription error - nothing more.

Thanks for your help.

All the best,

Lars Kristiansen

Infant Barnett, Childress, TX
The date on the memorial for Infant Barnett (Find A Grave Memorial# 65667727) is May 1, 1918. Is it possible that the date should be May 15, 1918? I'm looking for information on Lennis Barnett. She died in 1918 at the age of 4. Another Barnett infant died on May 15, 1918. If you could confirm the date on your memorial as correct, I would be most grateful.

Her given name was Fannie Etta Meek and "Lillie" was her family pet name or nickname.

RE: Susie Bownds (Liberty Cemetery)
Thank you, Mary, for responding so quickly. I appreciate your help. I looked up my g-grandma's death certificate as you suggested. Very interesting to see. I'm having a very hard time finding anything about her mother. You mentioned in your message that I could email you. How can I get your email address?

Thanks again.

Melissa

Susie Bownds (Liberty Cemetery)
Dear Mary:

I am Susie Bownds great-granddaughter. I am trying to find information about her side of my family. I've not been able to find much. On her page, her mother's name is listed as Dabson. I assume that's her mother's maiden name. Can you tell me where you found that info and if you have any other info on them? I've not been able to find anyone with the last name Dabson who was married to W. H. Roberts.

Thank you for all your efforts to connect families.

Sincerely,
Melissa

RE: Walton Hill
Sorry, I'm still new to some of this. I don't really know what you are saying but I will try it next time - I try to avoid changing other people's stuff. Thanks again. Jim
