RE: 46188386 Johnie Rigdon
In response to your inquiry about Johnie Rigdon I will delete this memorial #46188386. The name was taken from a cemetery index which I used. If information is found later a new memorial can be made.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Good luck with your family searches,
No, No! Please leave it there! I'm fairly certain now that this is John Forwood Rigdon, the father of George W Rigdon, grandfather of Alonzo and G grand father of the other two Rigdons in the same cemetery. I just didn't expect to find his grave in Kansas! He was born in Harford Co, Md and lived most of his life in Ohio and was thought to have died there in about 1880 but I find no evidence of his death or burial in Ohio and it wasn't until I verified who the others were that I was convinced that Johnie was John Forwood.
Let me know if you need any additional information.

Death: Jul. 6, 1870
Aged 64 years"
Can you double check this? I think this MAY be John Forwood Rigdon, father of George W Rigdon but my records say John was born 22 FEB 1800 • Deer Creek, Harford, Maryland, USA Death 1860 • Bloomfield, Jackson, Ohio, USA. I don't have a source for his death date and location and haven't found his grave so that could be wrong.
I have matched up all of the other Rigdons in this cemetery but this one eludes me.

Thank you so much for your quick response. This week I found my great great grandmother: Catherine Collins Sheehan and you had her grave as well.

Do you know if this man (mem #66265380) is brother to a Clarence Paul Terry who died in 1919 as a naval serviceman?
|Dennis Bell||John D. Green|
Thomas & Darlene, In researching a Find A Grave photo request here in Maxwell, Iowa I discovered that John, his wife Charlotte and 2 of their children are actually buried in Springhill Cemetery, Springhill, Johnson County, Kansas. John's Find A Grave is 65348496 and Charlotte's 65348388. I have compiled a pretty extensive family tree for them out on Ancestry.com, including a picture of each that you might want to include on their memorials. You can find the information under a Green family tree under the my name, Dennis Bell. You are welcome to use any of the information I found. It is a pretty interesting story of John marrying two sisters from the same family of Richard and Charlotte Bach.
