Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a retired Air Force veteran. I was reared in Savannah Georgia, and now reside in Alabama. My ancestors came from around Liberty County Georgia. I Have been researching my Howard, Taylor, Owens, and Gordon family trees for about 8 years. My search has resulted in Many dead ends and some unmarked graves.

I became a findagrave photo volunteer to help others with their ancestry searches.

I consider any photos that I take to be public property and may be copied and used as needed.

Any Memorials I Have posted, I will gladly transfer to family or friends.

jettie bailey mcghee 1907-46
I seeking information my paternal grandmother, Jettie Bailey McGhee 1907-1946. She died of breast cancer in West VA. but was buried in Plantersville,AL in Oak Grove Baptist Church cemetery as far as I know. My father was too upset to attend the funeral at age 17, so I don't know where her body was lain in the cemetery. I don't believe there is a marker. Her father was Manual Anderson(1874-1974), mother Mary Stone(b.1874-?), Manuel's father was Anderson Bailey (b.1833-?) any info would be most welcome.

Best,

Rennis, Thank you so much for the wonderful grave photos of my precious cousin and his wonderful mother. There are so many requests at Live Oak and I am so grateful you picked mine. I have been there many times, even to their funerals, but was not able to find their graves again. We live 5 hrs away and the cemetery is huge. I have a request in for a pic at old live oak for my gggrandparents, Jane Benning Boon and Joseph Boon. Is there any way to find out the location or do you just hunt as we do? Thanks again for your help.
Jane

RE: Margaret Moore Grave Photo
The memorial I requested a photo of doesn't have birth/death dates. I'm looking for possible connections between known family names and known cemeteries. The name is fairly common, but I'm pretty sure I have ancestors buried in the Live Oak Cemetery.

Richard Thomas Edmonson
I am looking for:

Richard Thomas Edmonson or Edmondson
Birth: Feb. 13, 1851
Paulding
Jasper County
Mississippi, USA
Death: Feb. 19, 1925
Selma
Dallas County
Alabama, USA

He was reported as buried in Old Live Oak Cemetery, but no one has been able to find him there, but I did find his daughter at New Live Oak Cemetery. Maybe he is there too. Before I move his memorial, could you look to see if he might be buried in New Live Oak Cemetery? You took his daughter's tombstone picture.

Since he died in 1925, I could order his death certificate if necessary.

Thanks,
Zoe
