Old Coots, I like your sense of humor! Sounds like you live in an ideal location in the Ozarks.

Larry another old coot.

I was just browsing, and came across her memorial, Do you have any idea why she was "Famous" ? She was white, widowed, no children. She was a stenographer/bookkeeper for a photographer. Do you know why she would be the daughter of the Choctaw Nation? I have googled her, and nothing...just hoping you might have some info. thanks in advance :-)

I went to update my Great-Great Grandfather's memorial and seen your peace sign. I always visit the profiles of those who visit my family. I never new David Andrew, but I knew his son and grandson and I know you would have gotten along with the entire family. Thanks for visiting!

RE: Thanks
Thanks for your reply, Old Coot. What you are doing is meaningful, and it seems to me that you are motivated by sincere interest in those seemingly forgotten and that you have good will in your heart toward those who have passed on. Edna Lunde's story must be a sad one, I think, since she and two of her siblings died young in Yankton. I just recently discovered them and will find out more in time and create more of a tribute to the three of them. I like the peace symbol. Thanks again and blessings to you. Gloria

Dear Old Coot,

Thanks for leaving the peace symbol on Edna Lunde's find a grave page. Edna was my father's first cousin. I am curious as to whether you know anything about Edna or her family or Yankton? I've been doing some family research and found Edna and two of her siblings in Yankton State Hospital. Let me know if you know anything about them. In any event, thanks for the tribute, and peace to you.

Gloria E.

Why do you just put these peace sings on the memorials?? For some it is really not the right thing to leave on there. Elsie May Breese McPherson, that is not the right kind of thing to leave on that memorial. ???? Not sure who you are or how you pick where to leave these but please remove that, she was my 2nd gr grandmother and I feel that is not appropriate for her memorial. Thank you
