It's been 14 months since her passing
And the memories linger...

Both for her and the memories !!!!

I believe in Angels because of her !

Many thanks to all who have put or will put flowers on my dear wife's memorial page !!!

Erma Webb Bills
I do not know where you got this information. However. When Erma died, she was not a Bills, she was Hill, before that she was Gleeson. She was married to my father, Marvin Bills for less than 4 years. I was able to remove her from my fathers grave site. But I would appreciate all references of my father removed from Erma's. You have no right to do this..and I am very angry about it. He and my mother Margaret Slater were married for over 50 years. Please remove all information related to my Father Marvin Franklin Bills, from Mrs. Hills Grave information. If you will do so willing I will ask those who administrate this site to do it for me. Where the hell did you get your information?

William Noble Hunsaker, # 83428633
Just passing along some partial obituary information I ran across while reviewing project photocopies:

William Noble Hunsaker
Obituary - The Statesman Journal (Salem, Oregon) published 21 Dec 1982

The obituary originated in Otis, Oregon states he died at age 94 in Salt Lake City, Utah. The rest of the obituary was not captured on my photocopy. The full obituary is on microfilm at Salem Public Library, Salem, Oregon.

Metcalfs in Philipsburg
I spoke to my friend who has lived all her life in Granite Co. She thinks that Old Doc Metcalf was not related to the Metcalfs from Philipsburg. His first name was Fred and he might have had family in the Bitterroot Valley south of Missoula. He had a son named Ron & an adopted daughter named Linda.

The Huffman Grocery has changed hands several times being owned by Lum Wanderer & then the Lane family, though the name of the store never changed. My friend did not remember the first name of the Huffman who owned it. But the 1900 census lists Adison Huffman as a merchant in Philipsburg and in 1910 Cosmo & Addison Huffman were both retail grocers.

Hope that helps,

I transferred all the Metcalfs, Burditts & Huffmans I manage. If you find any I missed let me know. Take good care of them.

I assume your family must be connected to Old Doc Metcalf & Huffman Grocery. It is fun to meet someone who has a connection to Flint Creek Valley history.

I have approved the edits you sent me for people in the Philipsburg Cemetery. If you would like me to transfer any memorials just let me know which ones. I loaded the cemetery from the records as a winter project last year and am not related to anyone. Several Find A Grave volunteers & I photographed every stone we could find.

Noticed you created a memorial for Jan. Thought you might like to know that she is buried in the Ogden City Cemetery, Utah under her married name "Martinez". Plot is: Annex-24-3-5E.
