|Annie Newman Chevalier||Georgia Annie Howard|
Georgia Annie Howard is the sister of Napoleon Bonaparte Howard. She was born 13 Oct 1862 in San Augustine County, Texas. She married about 1877 (at the age of 15) to Josiah Gunter from Louisiana. They had 11 children. Georgia died 28 Aug 1923 and is buried by Josiah at Paul Cemetery, Forest Hill, Rapides, Louisiana. See her gravesite on Find A Grave #28339016. She was only married once. Georgia was my great grandmother. I visit their grave often. Annie Gunter Newman Chevalier

I do not know if you are interested, but found on Fold3 the document that shows that Greenberry Watts (WGB Watts) died on 11 Feb 1865 in the CSA General Hospital in Shreveport. He was a private in Company E of the 19th Reg. Texas Infantry. He joined in San Augustine, Texas for 3 years or the war on March 30, 1862 and is listed as age 18.

Never mind, I believe there are two separate John W. Stricklands and this is the wrong one. Sorry!

Hello, I am trying to get in touch with any living member of John Wesley Strickland (1924-1990) family--children, siblings, or nieces/nephews regarding an old photo album I have of this family from Kansas in the 1940s. Please contact me ASAP. firstname.lastname@example.org
|Glenn Scott||Thursa Elizabeth Fonville.|
In 2012, you left a message for someone on Find a Grave about Thursa Fonville - it related to Wood markers. If you have any info for Thursa, I would be interested in it. She was my GGGrandmother.

Yes. If you can narrow it down, I'll look again. I did see several Clark's, but no John. Will be happy to photograph for you if we can locate him.

My pleasure. Were you able to read the photo? The headstone was quite dirty and I didn't have much to clean it up with so if you need a clearer picture I can try to do this when I go to the cemetery next time. It may be a bit before I do go to the cemetery again.
