I have lived in Preble county, Ohio all my life. I love history and this area is rich in it. I grew up running around the historical society and all the wonderful people there instilled a love of history. I'm currently trying to find more info on the veterans buried in the county. Any info is greatly appreciated!|
If you find that I have wrong info on any memorial I have contributed then please click the edit link at the top right of the page. It may take a few days but I'm more than happy to change it. If you would like me to transfer a memorial to you, please use the edit link to ask. You must define a specific relationship. Not just "I knew the person". If I find the reasoning or relationship good enough, then the memorial is yours.
PLEASE DO NOT PLACE BIO INFORMATION IN THE MEMORIAL FLOWERS!! IF U SEND IT TO ME IN THE EDIT TAB I WILL HAPPILY PLACE IT IN THE PROPER SPACE!
Also, please bear with me as my Cholera cemeteries and Veterans cemeteries are works in progress. I am currently going through Preble County's Veterans WPA files and it a long process, as there are over 12,000 veterans buried in our county. Please also feel free to use any photo or memorial I have created in your family histories. Thank you!

Hello, I am hoping you can tell me what happened to the headstones of Philip Crider and his wife Nancy Ann Wright Crider.
We have seen the massacre of headstones behind the Salem Lutheran Church on Route 35 in West Alexandria.
These people are relatives and I would like to find them. Are they in the pile of headstones at the back of the property or has someone moved them to a better place.
The situation in our cemeteries is so sad. Thank you for the work you are doing and any news you can give me. Brenda Wagers
|Karen A.||Riner Cemetery duplicates|
Sorry, I need to clarify. The original Gregg memorials were created in 2009. Someone else created dups. in 2011 - but they were transferred to you at some point.

I noticed that you have created 3 duplicate memorials at Riner in Preble County (Silas Gregg, Jacob Gregg, Druzilla Gregg). The originals were created about two years previously and have some additional information.
Please delete the duplicates. Thanks.

Oh Okay, that's what had me so confused, especially since there is a sign there saying its Nesbit
and its also called New Lexington Cemetery...too many names ;^)
I thought I had put Millers'in the wrong cemetery,
Are there no readable stones for them?
disregard my email too on the Cemetery names
Thanks for all your help !
