Diane: I took a look at my records and think that the original transcription I took the information from had a typo. I feel that the date is probably wrong in that she couldn't have died before her daughter was born. Since both have the date of 19 Mar it is obvious that the year should be the same. I will make the changes necessary.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

That would be great.

I can't be 100% positive about the dates from the picture, so I will have to check out the marker the next time I am up that way. The year looks like 1893, but it could be 1883. The day looks like June 12, but it could be June 18.

Thank you. May I use you as the source for the photo so I can get the credit line correct? Any book is quite a ways off, but in the meantime I am enjoying the research. Sincerely, Dean Knudsen, 7th Iowa Cavalry researcher

Hello, I am researching the 7th Iowa Cavalry and wonder if you can tell me the source of the photo you have posted of William H Wilson. I would like to use the image in a book I hope to write. Thank you, Dean Knudsen
