Bio and Links
Bio Photo I so enjoy getting to walk around cemeteries and take pictures of grave markers. I also love that FAG exists and gives everyone a place to "remember" their loved ones.
With that said, I recently found that a FAG contributor requested moving flowers (or images) not be posted to "her" memorials because "I think you would agree that your gesture is about respect for the dead, and not a competition of who can find the most distracting jpeg." I am quite disgusted by that comment. As far as I am concerned, even if I did create a memorial, it is not "my" memorial. A family member or friend should be able to leave any tribute they see fit on their loved ones memorial, as I am not to judge what is appropriate for someone else.

REMEMBER: Find A Grave is a wonderful place to find family and friends who have left us and every memorial we contribute adds more value (and love) to the site. Refusing to transfer a memorial to a family member is just plain rude and selfish; not to mention against FAG's policies for a direct line family member. If you don't want to "play" by the rules, leave.

With the exception of my own personal family photos, photos I post can be used by others for their personal, private and/or non-commercial use. If you want to post them to Ancestry or similar site, please respect my efforts. Do NOT copy my photos to or similar site without giving me credit. Simply copy and paste:

Thank you so much. You don't know how much this means to me and my children. We rarely get to go to graveside, but this memorial allows us to give flowers and messages to my Moma. Thank you so much. btw hendricks(cherokee county) and shiloh(smith county) cemetaries are my family.

RE: Abigail
You're welcome. Unfortunately it happens from time to time. Not everyone checks to see if there is one already displayed, or they may not realize there is a variation in a name, i.e. nickname or spelling.

Mabel Fusilier Brown
I would love to have Mabel transferred to me. She is a half-sister to my Great-Uncle. Mabel's daughter informed me as to her burial place. My family is originally from Eunice. I live in Lafayette. I would like to add more info and link to her parents.
Thanks so much,

RE: Edward & Winnie Brown
See, I told you I would be wrong again ...

Johnny Mack Brown was Edward's son, not his brother. I read the obit wrong. Johnny Mack lived in Dickinson. Since Winnie had already died maybe Edward was forced to live with his son in Dickinson.

But he was buried next to his wife near Cushing where they had lived.
